Considering Wigan have an atrocious scoring/defencive record anything less the victory should be seen as piss poor & the way other teams are dropping points its time for us to capitalise and with a few decent buys in January a push for top spot. This league is winnable.

I agree if we win the next four games including spurs game and get  one or two good players in january I think that the first spot will not be that far.

After Man City away last year, this fixture last season was probably the next worst performance I'd seen under Rafa.  Saying that, I have no idea what to expect tonight, but I will say I do like Roberto Martinez's footballing philosophy.

No we have had enough negativity in the past 3 years to last a life time can you imagine Shank's being negative he wouldnt have let your near the place he wouldnt even let injured players near him. No ,positivity is the way forward for me now.

I'm going for a good 4-2 win, Roberto Martinez likes his teams to play football so I do not expect Wigan having ten men behind teh the ball, even though they are in the bottom three.
