It's World Cancer Day today so to anyone who's been effected by this dreadful disease, I'm with you and thinking of all of you.

For my Dad who thankfully is still with us and to Jean (sister in law), Bill (father in law) and Laura (family friend) who sadly aren't.

Please leave messages for your loved ones  :'(

To Susie my sister who's only just found out she's got cancer. To my Dad, who's beat cancer and at 80 years old he's still going strong.

To Jenny, my best friend who's had breast cancer and fortunately is still with me today.

To Jess, my daughters best friend who died recently at the age of 21, we'll never forget your happy smiling face, you brought joy into our lives, RIP sweetheart.

To all my Aunties and Uncles I've lost over the years with cancer. You will never be forgotten.

To my fiance Jimmy, who lost his battle for life in 2000 to brain cancer, love you always.  (Even though you were a bitter  ;))

To my grandma and grandad who passed in 1971 and 1972 to breast cancer and liver cancer respectively (grandad was a boss red who used to take me to the match when I was a nipper and introduced me to the love affair I have for the reds today YNWA Grandad)

To both my cousins, John and Eddie who died at a very young age, you are missed greatly.

To my Aunty Lou - will never forget you, you were like a second mum to me and I miss you so much (not cancer, but I couldn't leave her out  ;))

And most of all my mum who has had breast cancer twice, had a double masectomy over 20 years ago and is still with us today, thank God for modern science and the NHS who saved my mum, love you always mum xxx

After all that, my prayers go out to all those that are suffering today and fighting this terrible disease, especially all our friends and families on here, one day there may be a cure for it, until then YNWA  xxxxx

The most painful moments in my life have been caused by this disgusting disease.

I lost my sister to it in 2008 and lost my Dad last week. R.I.P.

My heart and thoughts go to anyone that has to go through it.

To my best friend's mother, who always fed me when I was over there and took care of me like her own while barely speaking a word of English, and is a breast cancer survivor.

To my girlfriend's mother, who beat breast cancer against the odds last year and is going strong.

And too my beautiful girlfriend, who beat cancer that was supposed to kill her when she was a child. She spent over a year in a Children's Hospital, making it through a couple of nights she wasn't supposed to.

I love you all :) YNWA

Good luck to your brother KIK.

My Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer last October and has shown amazing strength and bravely battled through the last year and got the all clear last month. But my Nana- my Mum's Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer yesterday, It's been a big shock with it being so soon after my Mum, but hopefully she'll be fine.

      Hope your brother's ok KIK.

To my mum who died in February, hope you are sleeping peacefully now.
To my dad who died back in November 87, never forget you dad.

My thoughts are with everyone who has either suffered from this disease, or had to watch a loved one die or fight for their survival.

Let's pray that one day, a cure is found for all forms of cancer.

      Follow up today.

A rare and aggressive form, so he's been referred to another specialist in Bristol.

No idea yet about prognosis, but they still think they caught it early - but he'll know more in a couple of weeks.
