Like I said, with the Stoke game ahead, I am 100% convinced that Man City will get at least one win in their final three games.

So, we may as well just be realistic and Man City may as well win tonight, to give us a cushion in the final game against Villa away.

Spurs winning tonight is more likely to mean we end up 6th than us finishing 4th.

Maths says they will win their next 3.......  Doubt it.

Their gaffer has come out today and said "we have no problem getting into the Champions League"

      Hopefully he's tainted it.

      Spurs H, Stoke H, Bolton A.

Spurs will be out for blood and will win.
I can see Stoke grinding out a draw.
Bolton away, toughest away day there is IMO - draw.

Just hope spuds do us a favour tonight and put some pressure on them.

      Im starting to hate City

      This.

City win tonight and we have like you said, our little cushion, which would do nicely. Finishing 5th, would be an absolute steal and one of THE performance of the season in the Premier League this year.

1 - Man City have won only one of their last 15 matches v Spurs in the PL & have gained just 6 points from a possible 45 in this run. Omen?

F**k that I'd rather go into Sundays game against Tottenham believing that 4th is possible than having 5th all but wrapped up, Spuds have Bale and Modric out we'll tank them at Anfield on current form and put them back behind us.

Right on man. Winner take all. Never say never. If we can't beat spurs on home ground, we are not worthy of the 5th pos then.

      Come on you Spuds!

I'd rather be push for 4th and risk come 6th than settle for getting 5th.

If Spurs can come to Anfield without Bale and Modric and beat us at the moment, they deserve 5th.  Don't see it meself.

I agree. Who would have thought we would still be in with a sniff of C.L. footie at this stage of the season given the last 12 months we've had. As long as its possible, then thats what we have to aim for.

You play for what is mathematically possible and as it stands at the moment that is 4th, If I was Kenny I wouldn't want the players to give up on it no matter how small a chance there is as it only takes one mistake for that chance to increase.

If the Yids can get a result tonight & then we turn them over City will be under huge pressure. They havent got the harderest of games but they need to win, that is never easy when you need to under pressure. I'm not settling for 5th yet

The simple fact we are still here with two games left is staggering! I'd rather say we went full tilt going for fourth and came 6th than settled for fifth! Do we really care too much about playing in the europa league its pretty poor! They only real swaying point would be incoming players want to play in Europe, well screw them, we want players who are damn proud to just pull on the jersey and players will see the way were playing at the moment and fancy us anyways!

I agree, alot dont so be ready! I will add that players dont come to big clubs to play in the Europa. That will be no extra attraction to someone joining LFC

4th would have been simple, if that waster Hodgson had gotten the bullet quicker.

The arrival of Saurez & the departure of Torres can't be overlooked either
