I must admit I'm quite bad for swearing, especially the word c**t. But I blame being Scottish, especially in Glasgow the word c**t is used to mean a person.

"Some c**t just asked me what time the bus is coming!" but that doesn't mean that you necessarily think that person is infact a c**t in a bad way.

      Classic example
Rangers fan tells BBC North West Tonight he hopes "every c**t will get along wi' each other"

Glad you posted this was just trying to think of how to explain the "evrycunt" sort of lingo used in Scotland then thought better of it, but the video shows it well  :D

Bellend is a sh*t word though Kenny. It always sound like a ten year old when I hear it.

Divvy is a much better word ;)

      Shut up ya bellend.

there's a brilliant voiceover with Lord of the Rings and the narrator yells " c**t c**t c**t c**t" over something they say, so funny but I can't find it.

I'm more offended you're telling me that Jesus loves me than that you're telling me I'm a c**t. :f_whistle:

We use a similar word like c**t in Holland, kut, which means exactly the same and is used as often as it is in the UK. Jokes about mothers are out of order here too though, that stuff will get you in trouble. :P

c**t and swearing in general go hand in hand beautifully with the male Scotsman. It's part of our identity! Just take a look at Malcolm Tucker and Jamie McDonald in The Thick Of It!

I think this may actually be the worst thing you can say over here. It is definitely the worst thing you coulkd call a woman. If you said it to a man, unless he was in the know, I don't think he'd get it.

One day I was watching a match and I screamed at the tv calling someone a f**king c**t. Well, the wife will attest to the fact that I swear like a mothafucker, and it doesn't phase her. When I said this, I got scolded. Verboten!

Edit: Great thread here, AZ. I'll give you a +, but mostly because I feel sorry that you live in Arizona (lived at Ft. Huachuca for a bit myself ;D)
