Only caught the second half, nearly dropped my pint after witnessing Merelies goal, one of the best goals a Liverpool player has scored for a while. All round great performance from the lad and Nando.

So f**king made up for Kenny, you can see how hes inspsired the players, you can see how more attacking and positive we are, ALL in less than 2 weeks in charge. Those f***in tw*ts in the media and hodgson lovers are praying he fails.

F***ing excellant I called that wrong, can i pick the whole team as man of the match amazing what 3 weeks and a change of manager does.

We were a joy to watch today and that third goal I had to look twice at it thought I was watching Barc play.

Meireless has looked a different player in the last two games, or am I missing something? Great goal today.

Can't make up my mind for man of the match between Torres and Meireles.

Think Johnson deserves a mention as well for all the criticism he gets defensively he nullified Wolves danger man Jarvis like he did to Coleman last week.

I think Meireles was stunning today. He was my man of the match without question. Some of his passing and vision today was sublime and he was consistent throughout the game. The goal was the cherry on the cake.

And that is certainly not taking anything away from our other lads who had very good games. Excellent team effort.

;) If he can keep it going for the rest of the season - not to mention when Gerrard is back, he would be one of the first names on the team sheet for me mate.

Don't forget Skrtel. After having a some mares in the past couple of months he gave a really solid display today. Like the Skrtel of old. If he was consistent he'd be one of the best CB's in the league. ;)

Delighted today dosent even describe how happy i was after watching that match. We have been along time waiting to see that sort of pass and move football. We played to our own strengths rather than worrying about what the opposition was going to do. Lets hope we can keep up this up for the rest of the season and put a bit of pressure on the top 5 teams. Things are finally looking up. YNWA.

      King Kenny on
      Raul
      Quote
He played well last week against Everton as well, and he scored in that game too so he's going for the Golden Boot now I think!" said the boss.

"He's a good footballer and coming into the Premiership is difficult, picking up the pace, but he's getting there. The fact he missed pre-season training with the club isn't doing him any favours either. But we're delighted - not just with his play but his attitude and commitment.

      on Torres
      Quote
"It's the best (Torres display) since I've come in. It wasn't just the goals, it was the workrate he put in. It really helped us.

"It sounds a bit strange, but the way he ran down the goalkeeper - the goalkeeper kicks it all the way down the pitch and that's a great asset for them, and he nullified it.

"He showed that he wanted to do something and he did it."

      Quote
"It may have been comprehensive in the end but it was only because of the hard work, determination and effort we put in throughout the game.

"Wolves have been in a good run of form. They've played really well. They've beaten Chelsea here so for us to come along and play like that and come away with three goals and none against is a fantastic effort from the players.

"If you don't compete at Molineux you aren't going to come away with anything other than a defeat. The players competed really well and showed they've got a lot of pride in this football club."

Asked if relief was his prevalent emotion, Dalglish replied: "At the moment the feeling is more elation because we've won 3-0 and everyone's happy - the fans, the players. We got the result because we worked as a team. I don't know if there's any relief."

      Kenny's post match interview http://www.skysports.com/video/inline/0,26691,16461_6693060,00.html

When asked about signing Charlie Adam from Blackpool

SSN Reprter "The fans would like to know what's happening"

Kenny "It's a bit sad when you try to spin it onto the fans, we know more about our fans than you do, they want us to treat them with respect....... and if we've got business to do we'll do it behind closed doors"

      Absolutely F***ing class the man.

Tell you somethin else, watch that video and if you don't smile at 1:50 then you really must question your love for the man.

A song along the lines of 'when Irish eyes are smilin' is called for.

      When Kennys eyes are smilin
Then the reds woes fade away
Cos when Kennys eyes are smilin
      All our troubles fade away

      Or something more lyrical.

Meireles MOTM for sure!! Looked fantastic! Is anyone else a bit worried about whether his form can continue when Stevie comes back in? I'd love to set the team up the same way we did today but replace Poulsen with Stevie and have Lucas doing the mopping up in front of the defense. Question is...is Lucas good enough to be our sole defensive midfielder?

But regardless...Raul..take a bow...fantastic today! Watching the highlights on soccer saturday all you could hear was his name over and over again in ever move!
