It’s reported Alexis Sanchez is on the verge of joining Barcelona after a €37m deal was struck with Udinese.
The player made it public this week that he would reject Manchester City’s more favourable economic terms, as he is determined to join the Blaugrana.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barça have agreed a transfer fee of €26m plus €11m in performance-related bonuses.
There was a meeting in Formentera on Saturday between Udinese patron Gino Pozzo and Barcelona Vice-President Josep Maria Bertomeu.
Spanish media suggest only details now separate El Nino Maravilla from the Nou Camp.
However, in Italy there are rumours that Udinese could ask for an adjustment to that proposal, cutting down some of the bonuses to provide a stronger cash sum up front.
After all, Manchester City had offered €40m for the player last week.
Sanchez is currently on international duty with Chile in the Copa America.
