German international Marko Marin has apparently rejected a move to Liverpool claiming that he’d rather stay at Werder Bremen for the time being, according to his agent Fami Ramadani.
It was believed that the midfielder would seek a move away from the Bundesliga following a poor season for his club, but now it seems he will be staying put. Kopsource revealed in May that Marin wasn’t keen on a move abroad in the summer and, with offers from ourselves and Tottenham being rejected, the player has undoubtedly made his mind up concerning his future.
“Marko rejected both teams,” Ramadani told Bild. “Werder hinted also that they would not sell Marko at this time.”
The wingers reputation has grown significantly in stature over the past view years, earning him 16 caps for his native Germany in the process – a sign that Werder Bremen would not wish to offload his services very easily.
