On rush there are 2 bomb sites. The attacking team has to get rid of them and the defending team has to defend them. At the top of the screen there is a score of 100. The defending team can't let that get to 0. When the 2 bomb sites have been destroyed by te attacking team then they move onto the next 2 bomb sites until the score goes to 0 or 5/6 (can't remember) sets if 2 bomb sites are cleared. The teams then switch sides and roles reversed.

does it need a strong computer to play? BF2BC2 works amazingly well on my laptop, but I'm not sure BF3 would

      Yup.

Need a quad-core processor (Phenom II x4/Intel Core2Quad or better), Direct X 11 Graphics (nVidia GTX 460/Radeon 6850 or better).

Care to add me as well? Can't log into PSN at the moment -_- but managed to log in just in time to start downloading the demo for this.

Just couldn't get the demo if I use an Asian address so I had to log into my UK address PSN ID to download it.

      EDIT

Tried the demo and man, I suck! Totally a different type of game  Back to baby boy COD for me but I will get BF3 when it comes out

Downloading and installing the BETA on PC. Res I don't think a DX11 card is required, but it is recommended. I have a Dx10 and expect to be able to run on low-ish settings. According to SysRequirementsLab my rig is above minimum but below recommended.

I have an IntelCore 2 Quad CPU Q8300 @ 2.50GHz, and a ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series GFX card. For anyone who wants to see if they'll be able to run this on their PC, get on here.

      Playing it Right Now.

The Game is Different From BFBC2. Its Like a MOH and BFBC has Combined Together. There are Glitches. Sometimes You can't Run and You'll Face Problems in Aiming Down the Sight But its Beta only.

BF3 is Fun. The Problem is that Camping has been Made Insanely Easy. People Get Mixed Up with the Environment very Easily. Prone Makes it More Difficult. For Example One Cant Tell if there's a Camper in the Bushes or Not or Someone is Sitting in a Dark Underground Metro Area. Which is impossible to see.

There are New Features in the Game Too Like A Torchlight Thing. Which You Can Use To Distract The Enemy but it gives your Positions Away.

It's a Very Good Game. Bossing the Game Currently.

A COD killer?? - No, not Now!

Yeah there are some issues they need to sort out. Had lots of server issues on the PC yesterday, though it started working well enough after a while.

Clipping is a problem too, as you say Arrie people clip into the environment, especially when prone (like hiding inside a pile of rubble...). I got stuck in between a bush and a small wall yesterday as well.

I hope they sort out the issues that they've clearly come across in BETA in time for release.

Doesn't need to be labelled 'CoD killer' (nothing but Activision's lack of ingenuity will kill off that franchise..) - it'll be a better game overall, I've got no doubt..

Tried a couple of games of the beta, loads of stupid campers... Still confused with its layout and stuff but looks ok

EDIT: Crashed on me three times in the morning and the only time I managed to get into a game I got glitched underneath the map and had to kill myself to get out, not overly happy as I want to play this a bit to decide whether I get it as well as Modern Warfare 3.. Not sure that I will considering I have to get FIFA 12 and AC revelations too

Wow, they may well have nailed a great SP campaign. DICE themselves admit they aren't that experienced with single player scenarios as what they did initially was entirely focused on the big MP aspects, but going on that trailer they've upped the cinematic elements and look to have a decent, if recycled, storyline. Ad, the cinema like quality is something I can see too, that may well be down to a few familiar faces I recognised in the trailer, like the actor Glenn Morshower at 0.35.

All in all, very exciting, though I hope the length of the SP campaign isn't as short as most shooters these days. With the sheer amount of different gameplay scenarios BF games offer, there's a lot they could cover.

I've got it on max settings with V-Sync turned on and getting constant 60FPS, runs a lot smoother than Bad Company 2.
