      Liverpool = SkySports 1?
      Apr 01, 2011 02:32:39 am
      Hey guys, wasn't sure where to post this but have a simple question for all you reds with a good memory.

      Are most/all of our games shown on sky sports 1?

      I'm getting sky for my new place and was wondering will I need sky sports 1,2,3 and 4 to make sure I get all of our games? or would I be ok with just 1?

      I'm also getting ESPN so il get a few games on that too id imagine.

      Cheers lads

      Most Champions League games are shown on Sky Sports 2 if I remember correctly, with Gilette soccer special being on SS1.

      We're not looking likely to make CL for next season but worth bearing in mind :)

      Sky being sky fluctuate the channels matches are shown on to 'make' you get all 4. Sky were recently forced to sell channels at a lower price to Virgin, BT etc and that is why sky sports extra was re-branded to Sky 4 so they could show matches on there as well.

      Most matches to be shown this season on 3 & 4 will be European, SPL, Play offs and Internationals. If you don't need to or would be happy watching these matches on a stream then just get 1 & 2 mate.

      There have been plenty of our weekend games on SS2. I've been properly annoyed this season 'cause after last season I cancelled them all except SS1, this season has been different though and I'll get SS2 in time for next. Pricks.

      Almost always SkySports 1. ESPN have carried a number of our games. I get both with Virgin so I'm happy.

      Cheers lads, I think i might go for just sky sports 1 and ESPN for the moment and stream the rest. Hopefully il get most of our games with those two.

      Hopefully i be forced to buy all the Sky channels soon to make sure to catch all of our Champions League games ;)
