Wingers and forwards should be priority for January, then look at central midfield roles in the summer. We currently have Jonjo, Gerrard, Suso, Henderson, Cole. If another AM come in i think both Henderson and Cole would have to leave, which would probably happen in the summer, rather than January.

      Nothing new then?

We might have to wait until they play an English side over here mate. Our scouts are afraid of flying remember?

Would love us to go out and sign an exciting South American though.

Me too and we would make a pretty good destination for a young South American player, given that we have a few from there already.

Ricardo Quaresma still good very good, saw him in a few games just needs a good manager to know to speak the right words with an arm around his shoulders

      I very much doubt it

He was the most overrated pile of sh*te I have ever witnessed see play.

We were linked heavily with him once upon a time when Rafa was the manager.

In Rafa's defence, Quaresma was fantastic for Porto and ripped us a new one.

      Done F**k all since, mind.

There's this promising giant CB who was Young Player of the Tourney at the Copa for Uruguay. With the way Rodgers loves young players, Liverpool would be the perfect place for him to come and develop.

It would take a lot of guts for Rodgers to drop Skrtel or Agger right now.

Because it's better than what he's got currently.
Hasn't Sneider been frozen out over the fact he's refusing to drop his wage demands though? Think he's on over £200k p/w at Inter and I doubt he's going to take a pay cut to go some place else, otherwise he would have just signed a new deal with Inter instead. Can see him going out to Russia or somewhere that will be willing to match his wages and that certainly isn't us.

I think this is going to happen more and more often over the next year or so mate.

With FFP being taken seriously across Europe a lot of players are going to have to take a pay cut whether they stay or move on.

But is it being taken seriously? I haven't seen any signs of that yet to be honest.

Any to be honest, have seen no evidence that anyone takes it seriously. Have you seen otherwise? I'd be really interested in what you have seen that shows it's being taken seriously because if it's not enforced then I think we are in for a long trudge back to the top with our owners banking on the rules being followed.

You won't see evidence of it working until you get to the end of the three cycle - the starting point has only just began

I just don't think Clubs are spending stupid money like they used to.  The quality of players coming to the end of contracts next summer.   Clubs spending more money on Academies.

Only little things but to me it shows that Clubs are taking it seriously.

To be honest I think clubs have to take it seriously, for the moment, because if they don't and they are imposed? They will be up sh*t creek. They may not be imposed properly and as intended, but are there really any clubs out there willing to take the risk? I'm sure UEFA would love to make an example out of a big club to show that they are willing to do it and no-one wants to be that club.
