But is it being taken seriously? I haven't seen any signs of that yet to be honest.

A few clubs like Malaga and a few others have already been banned from European competition for a few years because of failure to pay tax, so technically it is a monetary rule that was broken.

If the FA were consistent and fair without a shadow of a doubt.

What does it have to do with the FA ?

The sanctions will come from UEFA from rule breaks within FFP

Don't think it's anything got to do with the FA. To be fair to Chelsea, they would have got an awful lot of money for the CL win last year and that would have paid for the likes of Hazard & Oscar.

Rumors now surfacing about Ba for circa £5Million... Mainly through social media sites, but still - this is how the Ince and Sturridge broke...

With a £7.5 buy out clause I doubt he will leave for less, but would be a good signing. I do however think it would make the Walcott deal dead in the water. Who would I prefer, not sure as they are so different. But interesting none the less

No I think it's more Newcastle will get 5M and Ba 2.5M, so the transfer's price will be the same.

      Throw everything at getting Walcott.

Give him whatever wages he wants and give Wenger an offer he can't refuse.

I think it would be best for him to stay at arsenal or move to clubs that are playing in top level. Hate to say ,It would be a downward step for him in his career if chooses us. Plus he is now playing as centrally no?

Not just based on today, I agree totally.

Ticks plenty of boxes - versatile, pacey, scores goals.

      Ba as well!

Yeah I'd be up for Walcott but I still don't think he'd do too well as the main striker. On a rotation basis yes, but not the nailed-on starter for that spot for me.

Yeah, he's been impressing me for a while now. Some people still have the same opinion from three seasons ago that he has no end product but that's just so far from the truth now.

Ba would be great too but apparently he has a dodgy knee so that might rule a big club out.

At the end of the day it's up to him, but there's no harm in us putting in a cheeky bid for him.

You won't see evidence of it working until you get to the end of the three cycle - the starting point has only just began

???? Last year was just shy of a record.. clubs are spending more than ever!!

Plus the most successful clubs already have great squad and just need to tinker we need an army of cash to fly up the table

ffp means nothing how long will it take to figure that out?

Well seeing how the owners purchased the club specifically because of FFP, I guess it does not matter what we think about it now does it.

Did they buy the club hoping for FFP? I was of the impression they bought the club knowing F**k all about football and a few years later it seems not much has changed.

They new nothing about the game itself but understood what FFP was all about which as Henry mentioned at the time gave them the idea they could compete at a high level.
