Mikel San Jose & Peter Gulacsi

Liverpool have announced the signings of Spanish defender Mikel San Jose and Hungarian goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi.

Skysports.com revealed last week that Gulacsi had agreed to join The Reds on an initial 12-month loan, and the Anfield club have now confirmed the deal.

Gulacsi joins fellow countrymen Krisztian Nemeth and Andras Simon in linking up with Liverpool this summer.

Centre-back San Jose joins Liverpool from Athletic Bilbao on a three-year deal, a move which was first reported by skysports.com in June.

The young stopper is understood to have cost The Reds 400,000 euros (£270,000), and has signed a three-year contract.

Both Gulasci and San Jose will be a part of Liverpool's reserve-team squad this season.

Goalkeeper? how many kepers do we have now? I think its time we emply more goalkeeper trainers. I have trust in Benitez anyway cos I know not even Reina will enjoy a monopoly come next season. Max's gonna rotate our goalkeepers so they can stay fresh all season. At least if Carson returns we're gonna have like 5 or 6. We could make history by using 6 keepers in six games wow. Mikel San Jose? hope he matures rapidly like Danny Agger. Cant Max convince Gill and Gillet to buy a team in the lower league? say league 3. With this, our young players can play full league football, develop and progress gradually. Juventus and Real I think have this stuff. We need a matured backup defender this season.
Rafa has great plan for this great club. We're gonna challenge for the present and the future is undisputably ours.
