Lost our way in midfield so you don't think there was a problem in defence then. Why don't you just say you think Aquilani was super sh*t and the rest of the midfield was brilliant

Why should I lie to please you? I thought Maxi was just as lax as Aquilani. Adam did well.

What everyone needs to remember is, it's the first game back at pre season. We've had much, much worse first games back. There were some real positives to come out of the game.

Because clear to everyone here you've a major problem with Aquilani. There was very little between Aquilani and Adam whether you want to kid yourself our not

Nah mate, I want him to succeed just like any other player. I just don't see the point in pretending the sun shone out of his arse when it didn't.

I am taking it easy. The lads just returned from their break. Fighting jet lag as well. I won't be this forgiving when the season gets under way.

He was the same as every one in midfield, he got his head up every time he got the ball. Was involved every bit as much as Adam playing in a more advanced role than he is used to.

He played the deep lying role with Juventus all last season. That is not taking into account this is the first game of pre season. Yet you choose to come on and slate him which tells me you have an obvious problem with him

      First game back.

      30 Degree Heat.
      80% Humidity.

      Score 4 goals.
45 minutes of proper fitness levels worked on against a team that won 3-0 at the weekend and are at proper match fitness.

      Job done.

No Gerrard, Suarez, Lucas, Raul, Skrtel, Henderson, Reina, and youngsters as fullbacks.

Wisdom you beast. Great goal Coady.

      Bring on the next game.

Flanno and Kelly in the 1st were very good I thought.
I think Kenny forgot to tell them it was a friendly, Both went sliding in to tackles and loved getting stuck in
Only see great things from these two in the near future.
Also nice to see Dagger back on the pitch. This guy needs to stay fit for 1 season, been so unlucky with injuries.
Was nice to see him get the armband for the 2nd half

The last couple of seasons the Reds would have lost that 3-1 or something similar to that. Today has shown that Kenny and the coaching team has made sure that goals come from all  areas of the field.

Aquilani wasn't sensational but he sure has hell wasn't poor or lazy. One of the better performers of the second half imo.

It was some good light entertainment for me.
Lad's will benefit from a proper game for their fitness.
Coady will be buzzing after his goal.
The price of Poulson and Ngog just went up/Well now they have a price.

Changed it as I left out Suarez and Lucas. Fecking Copa America

No I didn't slate him, I said it how I saw it. First half we pressured them every time they had the ball, second half we let them play. Aquilani floated about didn't tackle didn't challenge. Adam did and played quite well.

First game of pre-season or last game of the season I try to tell it as I saw it..... not just to please you, or in this case upset you.

We did in our F**k let them play, we must of had something like 70% of possession I never saw them put more than 3 passes together in the second half.

Aquilani was playing in a advanced midfield role supporting Carroll if you have a problem with the time and space our midfield gave them then wouldn't it make more sense you complaining about the space given by Adam and Coady.(just like to say I myself had no problem with our midfield).

Your post makes F**k all sense if your saying Aquilani was poor yet Adam was good and then go on to talk about the space we gave them in midfield

The game was alright, first pre-season game of the season it always sloppy, players trying to find their touch and fitness. Only thing I did enjoy was Cole play and Carroll getting off the mark even if it's just pre-season game
