Dissapointed that Andy has been dropped. I think Kenny made a mistake here because Carroll needs to play week in week out to build up his confidence and score goals.

They had a great understanding last season, I expect more of the same.

Can people stop saying Carroll has been dropped? Why did no one say that about Suarez vs Arsenal? New game, new tactics, ROTATION of players.

Andy hasn't been 'dropped'. It's just with Kuyt up front we can play more fluid and it has proven to be successful against Bolton. And i'm sure he'll score once he comes on.

So Cahill is playing then; rumours were bullshit then

I like that line up a lot. Hope it's a 433 but either way, I'm confident. Hope to see pass and move first and foremost and hopefully integrate Carroll into that later on without affecting our pattern of play.

Glad Tuncay isn't playing either, probably the best technically gifted player in their squad, other then Yong who's injured.

Big difference between the Suarez and Carroll decision. Suarez is after a copa america and is playing well while if we are being honest Carroll is really struggling at the moment.

I think Carroll was left out for tactical reasons which i mentioned yesterday, Bolton strength at the back in the air, they struggles much more against mobile forwards

Is Davies consistent?. Ive watched him play a few games, and tought he was quite good, but i cant really tell from just 2 or 3 games

And I think Carroll played against Arsenal because they have had problems coping with him and strong forwards like him. What's the difference?

Suarez played against Sunderland. Don't tell me they played him against Sunderland knowing he couldn't play against Arsenal. It was a rotation of players and Kenny's tactics vs Arsenal.

      Anyway. Lets thrash these!

He is very good in the air, not really mobile but has decent link up play, decent player for Bolton
I'm willing to bet you even with the copa america behind him redman, Carroll gets "rotated" a hell of a lot more than Suarez.

Kenny explained the Suarez decision saying he was tired after the copa and said he was probably wrong to start him against Sunderland as it was unfair on the lad. 3 games into the season Carroll is hardly tired

That's possible corbally and probably right but it's unfair to call it a dropping. Think that's harsh myself. I like that Kenny rotates players, changes tactics, etc.

It worked against Arsenal. I'm hoping it works again today.

Win may take us top.The only winning scorelines that won't are: 1-0, 2-1(would be behind chelsea aphabetically). Any other win will see us top.

Come on redmen! I'd like to say 2-0, Suarez and Henderson!

Keeping my fingers crossed, Bolton are no walk over, i will be watching Adam today to see what he is like when closed down quickly by Bolton because they do that well in midfield
