At work for this one, so I'll be relying on you bunch of knee-jerkers ;) to keep me informed.

If we dont win this by 2 goals then our season is over and Kenny and FSG out!  :f_tongueincheek:

Just wonder after two defeats and no goals, are the players angry, depressed or are they fired up. We need to win this team can win if they put there minds to it. we need a big lift in confidence. But you cant win a game with nine men, so it doesnt look so bad as it seems.

I'd go for full strength line up, majority of players that played last weekend owe the fans a performance.

Not going to lie, very very nervous ahead of this one.

We're not great against lower league teams and I'm sure Brighton will have a go knowing we let 4 in just a few days ago.

I think we'll nick it by a single goal, but it will be really tough.

Shelvey is not involved in the NextGen game, would that indicate towards a start for him?

                    Doni

      Flanno Carra  Coates  Enrique

      Kuyt   Lucas    Shelvey  Maxi

               Bellamy    Carroll

Pepe, Robinson, Wilson, Spearing, Downing, Gerrard, Suarez.

What a great squad we have now!!!  with Skrtel,Agger, Johnson, Kelly and Aurelio missing thats a whole back four and a sub.

Perfect team, apart from Enrique as someone mentioned. Robinson should start!

Full strength team. I expect very little else.

It's not like they put in a tiring effort on Sunday or have any other competitions to play in.

Shelvey hasn't been in the team since he didn't show up for the Sporting game. Note: when I say didn't show up, I mean mentally

Wow, forgot all about Shelvey. its games like these he needs to participate in. a good 60 minutes will give us an indication of his form

Certainly not. Only adds to the talk of him having an attitude problem last season.

I still think that a decent strong team should start ..

                                    Reina/Doni

      Flanagan      Carragher              Coates             Enrique

                          Gerrard                Lucas

      Maxi/Kuyt                                                    Downing

                      Suarez/Bellamy
                                                  Carroll

Then if/when we're winning comfortably (hopefully), we bring on the likes of Shelvey, Robinson and Wilson.

How can you be pissed if he is not involved?  Surely if he is not involved it is simply because he is not yet ready to be involved after such a lengthy layoff.  I will personally applaud Dalglish and the physios when they manage to get Stevie back to full fitness, regardless of when that is.  He needs to be able to focus on playing without the niggling injuries he has been having for the last few seasons....

Bellamy should start up top for me defo...he's had that lower league physicalness thrown at him last season when he was at Cardiff and should prove to be a handful for their defence if he stays busy running at them...start with Spearing in the centre aswell...and give Kuyt & Maxi free roles just ahead of him...keep Suarez & Carroll on the bench until the last 20 minutes...
Just gotta finish them off in the 90 mins....don't want the aggro of extra time and pens....
      3-1 and we're in the hat... ;)

But Gerrard personnaly said he was aiming to be fit for Tottenham. So if he's not involved at WHL, then surely he's 100% ready for Brighton

Why will you be pissed off?  He might not be ready yet.
