No more than we deserve. Lucky with the finish but you make your own luck by being positive.

About time

We're playing very well, the movement is great, sometimes the players lack a bit of understanding between them but it'll only improve with time. Downing is the weak link in attack though, he's been poor for a few games now, I'm worried about that. We need to be more calm in front of the goal, the number of offsides probably show we are a bit too eager at the moment.

Great pass from Enrique (I think) for the goal, nice goal from Bellamy, him and Suarez work their asses off, brilliant to see. Have to say I wasn't too fussed about Bellers when we signed him but he's been immense in the minutes he played so far.

We're a bit open in midfield but I think that was part of Kenny's game plan, he knew he was going to take some risks with that lineup.

Half time.

Quite satisfied with the first half performance.

Not the best of football, but some very good chances created. Except for Downing, don't think anyone's play was bad.

Quite deservedly go into the break with a lead, although could have had much more.

Just one thought going into the second half, let it not be another of those matches where we dominate like hell and still miss out on win. Should go out and keep the same game going in the second half as well.

Don't think we need a DM at home when playing against teams we should win over. Have to say that im digging the lineup and formation Kenny have started in this game

I think downing hasnt been too bad hes gettin in good positions. Final ball has let him down a bit i have a feeling hel score

Decent half. Would have said it was great had we taken our chances earlier in the half.

Gerrard takes us to a new level though, the way he controls the midfield and the match as a result is absolutely sublime to watch.

We seem to break really quickly but then we get to the final third and the brakes seem to go on because there is hardly any support.
