Think i will go and get a large jd down my gregory.

Having one myself, though mixed with alcoholic ginger beer, it's bloomin' lovely.

Love a JD with Ginger Ale Rodders but havent tried that yet.

      Sounds worth a go.

I was out of ginger ale, I thought I'd give this a shot, always got a bottle or two of the alcoholic ginger beer in the house.

Is it better or worse than the Ginger Ale then?

It's a little smoother on the way down the throat, worth trying, but I prefer the ale and its slightly stronger ginger taste.

Draught scrumpy and Guinness conjure up a picture of hazy weekends in Cornwall Billy, Only ever mixed them on a couple of sessions down there in an effort to familiarise myself with the local culture.......bad mistake. Got deliriously pissed.

As do most people who drink it like a pint of bitter.I was in Bristol many years ago and there was a woman in the bar drinking the evil stuff all night and honest she walked out the bar as though she had been drinking shandies all night.I will add you would not of wanted to fight her,or anything else for that matter.

      Haha very well put Billy.
Got some out-laws in Cardiff and they drink the concoction all day mate. They troop out in the afternoon to the club sink half a dozen, shoot home for a scran and siesta then get out for the night session, cannot keep up.

      Great stuff!

Brewed only a few miles up the road from me and got a couple more from the same Brewery tonight.

Well worth a try if you can get your hands on it. I found it hard enough and it's local.

Apparently it can Shabs mate, as much as some of us try to reserve it for alcoholic beverages. :D

      Fair play mate.

I'm not sure I could to be honest.

I don't crave it but do enjoy the odd one now and again.

My problem was & to a degree still is that I have a very addictive nature and stopping was the right move.

My Aunt passed away only last week and had been an alcoholic so it's fresh in my mind a bit.

Anyway I sound a bit of a drinker myself tonight but just having three bottles from a local brewery which I've been lookin to find for ages.

On the last now so Cheers!

Having a couple of that new Strongbow Dark Fruits, it's alright like but tastes a bit like a cheap version of Kopparberg.
