The last achievement for the Thieve's Guild does sound a pain, though I've read a couple of tips on how to get it done a bit quicker, so hopefully I won't get too bored. Does seem a bit "cheap" though, not a proper quest at all.
I read up on it too. It said you should ask Delvin for one of those forgery jobs, whatever they're called then go straight to Vex and ask her for a burglery or heist job, saving in between to ensure that you don't get assigned tasks for holds that you've already completed. Go do the two jobs and return. It is quicker that way but I still found it quite tedious having to walk back into the Ratways each time when the actual tasks were so simple. Also, because I've done so many other quests beforehand, I didn't have any problem with, for example, getting into the Jarl's palace in Dragonreach, I just wandered in.
I've got quite a few skills to 100 now, hardest was probably Smithing. My brother in law said he only needed to make 540 iron daggers to do this, but I must have made like 1000, 1500! I'll have to check, didn't understand at all, and I had the standing stone activated to learn skills faster!
Haven't done much smithing at all really. Again, when you've picked up so many powerful weapons from quests, it seems pointless smithing other than to increase your skill (though I should do).
One way is to run around casting the Silence spell on yourself continually, you can do it all the time, you get there in the end!
I haven't got that spell
I think my Destruction is up in the mid 80s now.
I did also get the 100,000 gold achievement, just kept enchanting all my loot and selling it on.
Hmm, something else I don't do a lot of, enchanting
or selling stuff. I bet I've got about 50,000 worth of crap stashed away in chests at my homes in Winterhold and Windhelm and the college of Winterhold. Can't be arsed to carry it to the shops
It does sound interesting, apparently there will be two additional skill "trees" to level up, for vampire or werewolf characters
That's right and from what I gather, you can level up all the way by drinking blood (vampire) or eating hearts (werewolf) instead of having to use different skills to achieve different perks. From what I've read though, I think the vast majority of people will turn to the dark side! The perks just seem so much cooler.
I didn't get on Skyrim today but I'm definitely on it tomorrow.
