      Ripley on Netflix?

Fantastic. Slow burn, very artsy (noir), Adam Scott is awesome in this. It's been noted the producer choose to make it in black and white so that the beauty of Italy didn't take away from the storytelling...in fact I think the black and white almost makes it more beautiful, but it suits the show perfectly.

Sometimes I only realised people still watch TV in the traditional way waiting weekly for episodes when I talk to my Mum.

Me and the missus have finished Blue Lights and she's still waiting weekly.

I've said before we don't even have a live TV box anymore and only use the streaming services.

Watch the news live in the morning and the odd bits and pieces.

Shogun on Disney+ is an absolute must watch.

For those who loved the political plot twists from Game of Thrones this is the show for you with some standout jaw dropping moments of action.

      Please watch it.

That's like swapping Klopp (Shogun) for Tim Sherwood (iCarly).

Once you get past the first half which does a solid enough job building the mystery is when you really start to learn what this is all about. Last few episodes when the trial is about to start is when all the intriguing revelations shine through and it will definitely hit home. Tom Holland has that star appeal.

Gonna watch the Netflix documentary about the Euro's 2020 final and the twattish behaviour of the absolute strap on cu*ts that support England.

Needs putting out more and more that as a Liverpool fan I never want to be linked to these brainless F***ing gobshites ever again and remind the cu*ts it's them that stormed the gates!!

Must check that out as well.

As you say absolute gobshites. Was catching to a couple lads from Liverpool at the Springsteen concert the other night and we both agreed that Belfast and Liverpool are so similar. We both said that we felt at home going to either, us there and then to us, if that makes sense.

You guys just don't seem English to me.

Saw one review calling it cheesy, that's not necessarily a  bad thing in my book

Saw the first episode today and liked it. Will give it a chance. I like Sly Stallone so I can watch anything he is in.

      Masters of the Air

Found the first half difficult to get by, became a little too repetitive. Briefed on mission > Take to the air and drop bombs on German territory > crash/emergency landings > military personnel losses tallied up. That was pretty much it for the first half, only started getting interesting once the enemy captured the Americans and they were taken from prison camp to prison camp.

So obviously no mention at how fantastic these cu*ts were investigating the Hillsborough disaster.

Can already guess what this programme will be like.

Watched it. I never realized what went on there. I'm sure you can make your documentary show whatever you want but damn...what a bunch of assholes. And the sad thing is, a bunch of them seemed to glorify the attempts to get into the grounds without a ticket. Probably really lucky there weren't more safety issues than there were.

I remember Match of the Day on the BBC and they barely mentioned the crowd trouble...in fact they were lapping the whole occasion up, dropping all pretense about being neutral when the whole presenting team, Gaz Lineker and all, started to sing 'Sweet Caroline' when it was played over the tannoy for the dimwits in white. (Yes, that really did happen)

Europe...just don't let them win it. Don't let it happen.

Just seen an advert for Season 3 of The Bear.

Reminds me for anyone who hasn't give this a go

Season 2 Episode 7 'Forks' is one of the finest episodes of TV of the past year or so.

It was a passable show but it was kind of crap too. 4 out of 10 tops, what was with the angry cousin or uncle was he? Constantly bitching, the denims being worth loads of money and the spoiler things in tomato tins, why would they have all been there unopened for so long, kind of a crap show actually.

Watching Ted Lasso now, I can feel my brain cells dying each episode. Got season 2 on, erk annoying. My brain cells aren't dying with Ted Lasso's eternal optimism it's with the two weird square jawed foul mouth plebs they cast as 'brit' football players

Last good show I watched the white Lotus (few days ago, even that's 6 out of ten tops, Cabinet of curiosities, on average 4 out of ten, ok show, that's about it.

      Grrrrrrrrrrrr. Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu uuuuuuuuuck.  ;) ;D

Love Roy "He's here, he's there, he's fvcking everywhere" Kent. Whistle, whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiistl e.   ;D :D :lmao:

Ted Lasso is just fun while checking out the brain cells before starting the show. It's just simple lovely show. Even my wife (who doesn't like footfall) likes the show & laughs at all the corny jokes.

I used to really like Homeland, found it hard to stop watching during the first season. But the longer it went, the more far fetched it started to become, up until a point I stopped caring. Can't even remember what was the last episode I saw. I guess that's an issue many American series share - if they're successful, the show creators will try to stretch it way longer than originally intended and often lose their way in doing so.

I lasted all of 4 episodes before it got terrible. I am not sure how it became so popular.

First two seasons of Ted Lasso were superb but the third was absolutely awful. Very tedious to watch towards the end.

I agree that the third season was the hardest to watch. The early season I thought was kind of sh*t....middle towards end I liked, but I was not happy with the ending personally. Still one of my favorite shows though.
