The first 8 series of red Dwarf are on Netflix, loved the show first time round, still funny today.

One of my "go to" series when I can't find anything I fancy watching.
      Excellent stuff.

A little cheap looking now but definitely a cracking show.

True, but I'd take cheap along with well written and genuinely funny over some of the vacuous CGI laden sh*t they pump out these days.
Plus the cheap (crappy) BBC special effects department stuff lends it a certain charm :)

I have just watched the first episode of an Italian show called Gomorrah which has surfaced on Amazon Prime. It's a gritty mafia drama set in Naples and I have to say it has made quite an impression on me. I'll certainly throw myself into this.be returning for more.

Seen the first two series on sky Atlantic,  classy stuff

I found the start to be very watchable and the good news is that it gets better. I binge watched it and I struggle with subtitled shows but not with this.

I'm skint for the next fortnight but I'll be paying £20 for the second season soon because I don't want to wait for it to be free with Prime or I might buy the DVD for £12.

      Just watched Sneaky Pete S1.

It is okay. Unfortunately, not as clever as they thought it would be and the episodes fluctuate immensely in quality.

I've not watched it but some of my staff say stick with it.

Suits is back, such a good show

It's interesting to see how Harvey is coping with Louis' occasional dopey behaviour without Jessica to separate them :D. Love Rick Hoffman and his character in this show.

Well worth the investment,  the brutal disposal of main characters puts game of thrones to shame, the original film is pretty good.

Watched Season2 of Narcos on Netflix.  Not as good as Season1, but plenty watchable.  Enjoyed both.

Just watched the latest episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. He talks sh*t half the time but I could watch his show every night :D.

I'm with you on that. I've always liked his character but I watched the show more for him than anybody else for the last couple of series. I used to watch it for the secret of Mike being a fraud but now that that's over I can't wait to see what happens next.

RIP to Bill Paxton who has passed away at 60.

He's been starring in the series of 'Training Day'. I wonder what will happen with that now? The programme seemed to be based around him and his behaviour as a detective. He played the role very well.

There's only been a few episodes of Training Day so you've not missed a lot. It's been mentioned that he finished recording for the first season so it wouldn't surprise me to see it cancelled, especially with reported low ratings. Lethal Weapon is something that I originally thought I wouldn't like after watching the trailer but I needed something to watch one day so I gave it a shot and I've really enjoyed it.

Been re watching the Sopranos this past few weeks. What a show; so hooked that I'm even practicing my New Joisy accent. 😄

I'm due a re-watch soon.  Brilliant show - excellent use of swearing as well <Stop breaking my balls>

      Anybody watched/watching Billions?

I've liked everything I've seen Paul Giamatti in and I've never watched Homeland but after watching this I'm going to have to give it a go.

      Superb programme.

Watched up to episode 5 of Training Day, just seems to come off far too cheesy for me as compared to how gritty the film was. Out of the two prefer the tv remake of Lethal Weapon compared to Training Day.

Also started watching 24: Legacy, pretty much what you expect from the series except no Jack Bauer this time, boooooo!

I gave it a go and gave up at the bank robbery scene after he puts the gun to his temple scene. Total garbage.
