What to buy for a "Bitter"
      Dec 03, 2011 02:29:46 pm
One of my mates, who turns 60 at the end of the month is a life long Evertonian, as he has invited me to his do, along with the rest of the gang, in a couple of weeks time, I am wondering what to buy him for a prezzie . I have known Mike for nearly 40 years, and is a real nice guy despite being a blue. Anyone out there have any suggestions

How about a photograph of the European Cup and DVDs of the FA Cup finals 1986/1989,bound to excite him.

I was thinking more along the lines of a "make your own toffee" machine , that's bound to excite him.

Sure I saw some Everton shares being sold in the bargain bin at Tescos a few days back...along with some old Jezza Clarkson VHS's.

Was about to type the same thing Billy but then  thought nah that's taking the piss they haven't got a hope in hell so I think a set of those phoney plastic cups would do the job.

Season ticket, got to be no more than a tenner, failing that, one of those Sudoku books for when he gets board at the match.

Yeah. Instead of sponsoring a donkey for a year you can sponsor a bitter.

You'll get a free pack with a picture of what one looks like smiling!

Thanks for all your great replies, bought Mike a couple of steam train books, as that is one of his loves apparently. Had a great night last Saturday,  buffet, disco etc. I really have enjoyed reading all your replies.
