Manchester United - Home 28th January kick off 12.45pm
      Jan 09, 2012 02:06:20 pm
Anyone know what the situation will be on these?

I was lead to believe if you bought a ticket with your members card for Oldham you were automatically signed up to the ACS? (& Ultimately would get first pick of a ticket for the Mancs) Is that the case?

Almost certain if you went to the Oldham game you can get a ticket for the United game.

This was the original announcement for the 3rd round was:

      "Sale dates are as follows:

ALL Priority Rights Holders ONLY: Wednesday 14th December 2011

All Members who have recorded 3 or more Premier League home matches on their Member's card during season 2011/2012 and that wish to enrol into FA Cup Auto Cup Scheme ONLY: Thursday 15th December 2011 and Friday 16th December 2011"

      See: http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/announcements/fa-cup-3rd-round-ticket-news

So I read this as saying if you purchased your tickets on one of those two dates (15th or 16th Dec) then you were automatically enrolled into the FA Cup Auto Cup Scheme.

and some more relevant quotes from that page:

"Members who wish to enrol into the FA Cup Auto Cup Scheme for future home matches within the FA Cup competition MUST purchase a ticket for this fixture between 15th & 16th December.  By purchasing a ticket between these dates, you are agreeing to enrol into the FA Cup Auto Cup Scheme for all remaining home fixtures within the competition.  Members will automatically be entered into the Auto Cup Scheme and will be subject to the Auto Cup Scheme Terms & Conditions."

"For future rounds of this competition, seats will automatically be allocated to Auto Cup Scheme Members and the Members card will be activated for entry into the stadium."

Did you go to Oldham Cas?

So, with the auto scheme does that mean you keep the same seat then?

Im sure the majority ended up going on general sale, you'd think with no way of recording on members card etc so you might have a chance.

      Fingers crossed for you  :)

I went to the Oldham game and although I bought them during the general sale it was online and through my fancard, I would love to go to this, do you think I will have a decent chance for tickets for this game?

Would have thought you'd have a decent chance alex, even if you were not entered into the autoscheme.

Members and ST holders with Oldham up first.

      Then fancard holders with Oldham.

      Then season ticket holders.

The way I read it is if you bought tickets for Oldham in the sale on 15 or 16 December, you were automatically entered into the autocup scheme for Members - this was the only way to get into the autocup scheme for members.  I may be wrong, but that is how I read the original announcement for buying Oldham tickets.

People had fan cards before they brought the membership card out, basically you have to have a membership card to get a ticket these days, membership costs at the moment £20, details are here - http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/membership/benefits/adult-membership

My membership card number is the same as my fan card number. You need the membership card to get into the ground.
