I recall asking the president pf LFC supporters club in Toronto if Bill Shankly ( RIP ) would ever cheer for Everton to win a match and the response was: " whatever it took if it helped Liverpool"

With that in mind, I "assume" most LFC supporters will be cheering for Man United? Also, if they thrash Chelksi by a big score, Roman might fire AVB and the club would be in furthur turmoil.

And we'd know God exists if we massacre 'arry's little boys tomorrow and we'd be in spitting distance of a real chance for Champions League next season. 2 short weeks ago we were humiliated by Bolton . Today, I don't think too many folks would write us off for Champions League next Season. And the League Cup later this month....

I did a lot of soul searching about this one. Decided that I just can't cheer the mancs on ...... so hoping for a draw with lots of bookings and sendings off. A few minor injuries wouldn't go amiss either, with perhaps a more serious injury for Evra (because he's worth it).

No doubt there will be lots of photo's in the papers tomorrow of Terry kissing Evra to prove once and for all that Terry is not racist.

That is a tough one and although it does enhance your existence when the mancs are annihilated LFC's league status is a vital consideration.
For the purist however the side's progress and performance takes precedent over every other aspect and St Billy's words of 'what ever it took if it helped Liverpool' apply in a more long term context here.
Paradoxically it will be a joy to get even nearer to our heady consistent top 4 days but for the present the next victory is my personal wish.
Unlike the mancs we have never had to depend on others' failures to progress.

Definately want utd to win i support Liverpool and i want whats best for liverpool. I dont give two shits about united and what they win. Although id obviously rather them win F**k all. But if them winning helps us then 100% i want them to win.

You have to win your own games to actually be able to worry about this, if we beat Spurs then we are back in it. Whatever happens in other games will happen, but to see Torres fire another blank, Andy get a brace against Spurs would be enough for me.

Also remember that if Utd do win today they will be very confident about a little game next week, if they don't and pick up a few injuries then we may nick a win there as well....
