      Very good.
Finally got the goals the performance deserves.
Stevie, Luis and Andy linked up very well.
      Lots of positives tonight.

Reina: 7   didnt have much to do, he looked solid and distributed the ball very well

Enrique: 8 solid, made a block to save from the line.

Skrtel: 7 Reliable as ever, distributed well.

Carra: 7 Looked decent, didnt look to hoof the ball forward.

Kelly: 9 Incredible performance from the lad. aggressive runs forward and i cant remember one mistake he made the whole game

Spearing: 8 pitbull attitude. never gives up. kept ball moving. kept the ball on the ground. which is a huge plus in my eyes.

Stevie: 10 great performance. deserved the hatrick

downing: 7 passed the ball, worked his socks off home. has a good partnership with enrique and good crosses in.

Hendo: 5 First half he was aweful, second half was a  improvement but still 2 good passes in a whole game isnt good enough. i may get some stick for this but the way he is playing. He isnt good enough for our bench.

Suarez: 9 two assists, played well. wished he had scored one but still one of our best players recently.

carroll: 7  good touches, held the ball, good understanding with Luis.

overall a superb perfomance from the red. couldnt have asked for more. YNWA

Absolutely thrilled to bits. Less passes wasted, looked more fluid. Big Andy did well and I believe he should start every game from now on. Then we will have a fair idea where we are heading with him. Enjoy your bitter, bitters.

Hopefully we can keep Gerrard fit for the rest of the season.  No surprise to see Suarez and Gerrard on the same wave length.  Helped us everton played two into centre there was more space for Gerrard.

Fantastic performances all around tonight, especially from Suarez and Gerrard.

Also thought Carroll was doing his job tonight too, though that could be helped by the fact we were more mobile in midfield than usual (i.e sans Adam).

Made up for Gerrard as well. Not that it needs repeating but he is an absolute collossus.

Pity we hadn't both Suarez and Gerrard fit all season the difference between the teams tonight. Good result

      This^

Bit of a kick in the bollocks to think we're we could of been had both been fit and firing.

Fantastic result, can't fault anyone out there  really. Henderson is no right winger but he was still decent, done the job.

Hat trick for Stevie G, perfect!

So what's it going to be then for Liverpool? 4-4-2 with Carroll and Suarez - or 4-5-1 with just Suarez up top.

With the right players I'd prefer the 4-5-1 but 4-4-2 probably our best option for the remainder of the season.

I don't think Suarez as a lone striker is the right move. He simply doesn't score enough and his game isn't about holding up the ball. He surely has to play in behind a big front man, like Carroll. Or needs another quick player around him to exchange passes with. Either way, I think he looks isolated up on his own.

The problem with playing Suarez as a lone striker i feel is he tries to do too much and tires himself too much where as with Andy playing alongside him he does not have to do all the work as we saw in this game Suarez did look a lot sharper and maybe that was down to the influence Carroll had on the game via his flick on's and knock downs.

Above all else you could see our lads wanted it more tonight. They were winning 1st and 2nd balls all night plus everybody was making blocks and tackles and tracking runners. That's the most committed i've seen the lads all season and they certainly earned the right to play the decent football they produced. Thought Reina and the back 4 were really solid tonight, both full-backs had excellent games going forward as well as defending. Spearing did well in the middle, downing had some good moments and even Henderson (who had a shocking first 30) got a bit better as the game went on. Carroll worked his absolute ass into the ground and proved he was made for this type of game. Suarez looks to gradually be getting back to the form he showed early season and what more can you say about the skipper that hasn't already been said over the years. 400th league game for the Reds and he becomes the first player to score a hatrick in a Mersey derby in 30 years! Incredible. Oh and he also happens to have been my dream team captain for this wek an all!

He is a goal getter. He used to score for fun with Ajax but he isnt just that. he offers much more then just scoring goals. We all expected him to be the top scorer this years after how he finished last year. Remember he had a ban, and the media pressure and all the faggots who target him when we play away. Give him time, he will be striker we all want him to be.
He needs a good partner like you pointed out and he will score goals. we just need to give him time and somebody else take the responsibility of creating things for a while.

Do you reckon we won because Moysey made a sh*t decision then Corbs, or would you not agree that Carroll played well tonight.

Now we know how to score let's keep it up all the way to end and shove it down the throats of the press and the rest, what a great result.

Stevie G and Suarez what a connection!!!
