I think our best lineup is:

                        Pepe
      *Kelly* Carra Skrtel Enrique
               Spearo  Gerrard
      Hendo       Suarez      Downing
                         Kuyt

This is what I would like to see for the QPR game!

***  If Kelly is injured then Flano would come in for him.  I have faith in young Flano, and I think he will be a big player for us in a few years time!!

You wanna see Hendo on the right?
Id rather stick pins in my eyes ;D. ;D

                               Reina
      Flanagan     Skrtel   Coates        Enrique

                          Spearing
                                       Gerrard
      Kuyt              Adam                   Maxi

                             Suarez

I'd love to see Adam given a free role in the hole with no defensive limitations whatsoever.

still don't think Hendo deserves a nod, but we have nobody else to play in the centre with gerrard and spearing, maybe even try maxi in there with his neat passing (I still think maxi is great regardless of his low key performance against Stoke, plus he likes London)

Carroll doesn't deserve to be in the first 11 going on his performance against Stoke. Kuyt looked fresh and fool of energy when he came on, he offers so much more than Carroll, he has to start.

I wish Lucas was available, then we can push gerrard up with the striker, we need gerrard near the box, he's still so dangerous.

      I would maybe

Carroll has to start. He has to find confidence with Suarez and Gerrard in the team with him. Dropping him does no good to his development or confidence.

I'd keep the same team as against Stoke. I'd prefer Kuyt to Downing on the right normally but it would be harsh to drop Downing after he scored the winner.

Hope Kelly and Suarez are fit enough to play, also having Bellamy back will be a big boost!

      I'd go with:

      Reina

      Kelly*
      Carragher
      Skrtel
      Jose Enrique

      Kuyt
      Gerrard (c)
      Spearing
      Downing

      Suarez**
      Carroll

Subs; Doni, Johnson/Flanagan/Robinson, Coates, Adam, Henderson, Maxi, Bellamy.

*If Kelly is out play Johnson (if he's not fit play Flanagan and put Robinson on the bench).
** If Suarez is out play Kuyt down the middle with Carroll and put Henderson on the right and Shelvey on the bench.

Gerrard and Spearing are working really well together and would be a shame to break up there partnership.

Really looking forward to this after two brilliant wins in the last week.

I'm gonna go for 0-2 (Gerrard and Carroll).

Howard Webb is the ref for this.

Ive slagged him off in the past but have to say the way he handled the situation at WHL was excellent.

My last F***ing final starts around halftime of this game, which means the first half I'll be on the way to get to my final. Fuckers.

Anyways. Good results the last couple games, need to really build a run here heading into the arse end of the season. Finish this out on a high! QPR one of those games we have no excuses not to win.

I agree with you regarding Henderson playing on the right, but I think Adam compromises Stevie when he plays in the same team.Stevie has been back on song since Adam has neen dropped to the bench. If we play with the same determination as we have shown in the last 2 games then we should get an easy 3 points.

      Barclays Premier League

          Venue: Loftus Road
          Date: Wednesday, 21 March

      TEAM NEWS

Adel Taarabt is back in contention for Queens Park Rangers after missing the the defeat at Bolton because of a minor hamstring problem.

DJ Campbell has resumed training and could return in two weeks, while Heidar Helguson may also make his comeback next month.

Liverpool will assess Craig Bellamy, who has sat out the Reds' last two matches with a knock.

Glen Johnson is nursing a hamstring injury and is unlikely to play.

      MATCH PREVIEW

Wednesday will mark exactly two months since QPR's last Premier League win, a 3-1 victory against fellow strugglers Wigan Athletic, and they head into this encounter with Liverpool in the relegation zone, above Wolves and the Latics on goal difference only. When Mark Hughes took over the talk was of the onwards and upwards variety, not of scrapping in the relegation trenches, yet that's exactly where Rangers find themselves.

“Consistency has to be the next ingredient for Liverpool”

The last half dozen games have yielded only a couple of points and more damagingly, defeats to three of the teams immediately around them in the table - Wolves, Blackburn and Bolton.

The remaining nine fixtures after this one include matches against all of the top five; Arsenal (at home), Manchester United (away), Tottenham (home), Chelsea and Manchester City (both away), plus a selection of tricky games - Sunderland and West Brom away, with Swansea and Stoke at home.

QPR have the talent to stay up and probably the goals to do it as well if Djibril Cisse and Bobby Zamora are fit and fired up. However, those three recent defeats to relegation rivals, all by the odd goal, have left them with a real problem.

Rangers have won just one of their last 16 games in the league. That has to change and quickly, or it'll be goodbye Premier League, hello again Championship.

In contrast, Liverpool head to London on the back of an excellent week in which they won the Merseyside derby with room to spare before reaching the semi-finals of the FA Cup. With the League Cup already won and another trip to Wembley on the horizon the mood is good, but their league form hasn't been so clever with only two wins since the turn of the year.

The 1-0 defeat at Sunderland was their fourth loss in five away league matches. Consistency has to be the next ingredient for Liverpool. If they play like they did against Everton then it might be a long night for QPR, but if they perform as they did at Sunderland, when I thought they were really poor, it might be a different matter.

      MATCH FACTS

      Head-to-head

Liverpool's last match away to QPR was a 2-1 victory in February 1996, when Mark Wright and Robbie Fowler scored for the Reds.
The Londoners have just one victory from nine Premier League encounters with Liverpool - a 2-1 win in October 1994, when Trevor Sinclair and Les Ferdinand got the goals.

      QPR

Rangers have won one of their last 16 Premier League matches (at home to Wigan on 21 January).
They have surrendered 15 points from winning positions this term - the highest figure in the top flight. They have lost 13 of those points on home turf.
The Loftus Road club have not kept a clean sheet since beating Chelsea 1-0 on 23 October, a run of 19 league games. Last term they recorded 25 shut-outs - the best figure in the Championship.
Their last nine defeats in league and cup have all been by a single goal.

      Liverpool

Dirk Kuyt is set to make his 200th Premier League appearance.
The Reds have conceded 26 league goals - only Manchester City (20) have a better record.
Kenny Dalglish's side are hoping to avoid a third successive league defeat away from home.
Liverpool have drawn 99 away games in the Premier League.

Happy to go with the team that started against Stoke. While we didn't exactly play wonderfully well against Stoke (who does?) we won and did enough to make me believe there is more to come from this team. Only real choice for me would be Maxi,Kuyt or Bellamy for one of the wide positions. If Bellamy was fully fit I would probably have gone with him.

Could be, hope it is. QPR are on a dire run of form lately. We need to take advantage of that.

There are so many possibilities it is hard to call but I wouldn't be surprised if several players got a rest for this one.  I can definitely see Suarez rested after his "knock" and Stevie given a breather.  So, how about a straight swap, Bellers/Kuyt in for Luis and Hendo given his preferred central role alongside Spearing.  i think these lads would get the job done and the bench would be super strong just in case.

On the flip side an unchanged line-up would be good also  certain players should play 90% of the remaining games together in preparation for next season

I wouldnt take this game lightly play our strongest eleven we need to get a run of form going. These are the type of games wer notorious for losing after having two good results everyones on a buzz then bang we get beat by a relagation side its happened so many times this year so dont take i lightly play ours strongest team and batter them
