Blackburn 2-3 Liverpool: In-game and post-match celebrations

I really am buzzing with that. Great character shown by the lads, and finally a win! A win I wasn't expecting, but a F***ing win it was!

We have many worries now going into the semi final, but for tonight, I'm going to enjoy it and get F***ing pissed!

This! There is plenty to dissect in this game. But we got the win and that's what we needed.

F***ing brilliant. Miles better than Carroll. Really though, Diego after a win like that just enjoy it rather than knocking the lad.

I know mate, I'm really happy with the win, but having not even watched the match, I didn't feel the commotion you guys probably felt after the goal. I just don't think one goal changes too much though

I suppose you have to really experience the depths of sh*te to enjoy the magnificence of winning!

Folks on Matchday Live were more excited at halftime than now. They're acting like they're in mourning. Some nonsense about how the win is unexplainable.

We scored three goals against their two penalties. That simple.

Great win for the boys! Showed the right spirit even after going down to ten men and still wanted the win. Worked hard and deserved it.

Maxi is always a goal threat and that's what we've lacked all season. It shows the difference players who can get you goals can make. All huff and puff players won't get us anywhere.  We need guys who are clinical.

Glad Henley was the royal f**k up in all of this. Only had to foul Andy 10 times through 89 minutes to get a yellow. T**t.

 for all the  critisism he gets(even  from me) you have to give credit to Carroll , not only for the winning goal, but gor the work he did all game alone up there.  Maxi had a great game too , sometimes we fans don't rate him much,
 well all the lads gave their maximum , we want the passion even when we are with 11 on the petch

Yes he's a big lad, who has struggled for goals. Well today he scored the winner with his strength and aerial ability and his first touch was brilliant. Top notch.

Wow! What a game and to think we still have Wembley to come It's gonna be an emotional week.  Thought Carroll, Bellers and Hendo were the stand-out players tonight but that's not too say the other lads didn't do their bit. Great win and wish Jones all the best for the game on Saturday.

You dont appreciate how tough it must be to play with a player less. Thats why in the majority of games, most teams with 10 players lose.

Wasn't just the goal. I felt he deserved one with his play tonight, he was isolated up there on his own and that's always tough no matter who you are. He did well with his link up play, and although his positioning still needs a lot of work he was improving there too.

It's a start, from my point of view. Now I hope he can go and score on the weekend and get into a good scoring run before the end of the season.

Why does it make no sense.  Surely, he wanted to block off that channel to attacks and still have an attacking outlet from the back.
