Who has the best long shot in our squad?

Not sure if this is the right section or not. If it isn't, feel free to move it.

Anyways, title really says it all. Who has the best long shot in our squad? A few years ago we had Risse, Alonso, Hamann, etc. They could all shoot from distance, and well too. Now though, I don't feel comfortable with anyone shooting from distance. If I had to choose one, I suppose it'd be Gerrard or Agger. Gerrard for obvious reasons, but Agger has a rocket of a leg and reminds me of Risse.

Carroll, Gerrard, Agger and Adam have powerful long shots, Suarez has less power but still a good long shot.

Currently it has to be Danny Agger with Stevie coming in 2nd.  However, I think that in another year or two this honor will be Jonjo's!!

For me:  Agger, Gerrard, and honorable mention to Suarez, especially after that one against Norwich.

People are overlooking a few,
Gerrard is our best atm, but look at
Henderson, i know, he is inaccurate, but with some training he could be good, has a hard shot.
Carroll also has a good left boot.

Suarez, Shelvey, Gerrard and Henderson. (I think Carroll too but he takes much more time to shoot than the others due to his height)

Same. Although that could be down to the amount of muscle injuries he has accumulated, especially in the groin area, which wouldn't let you shoot across your body as much as you would like.

Anyways, doesn't really matter who has the most powerful shot in the squad, as long as the person shooting is accurate, am I right? Just look at Yaya's first yesterday, that was a long enough distance out and could have gone for power, but went for placement and a goal resuted, rather than power and a better looking shot.

Honestly when Carroll gets in a good positiin to shoot with his left they can be lethal. He just needs to be balanced.

Carroll has a rocket in his left foot, unfortunately doesn't get in the positions enough to utilize it.

If Carroll used his more, he'd be it. Absolute hammer of a left foot, just seems like he doesn't have the snapshot, but rather he has to set up for it. Other than Andy, I'd say Agger and Gerrard have the most powerful shots from distance. Suarez and Henderson both more finesse types, but from distance, they are more than capable.

Whether power or finesse, the best shot in my book is one that ends up in the back of the net.

Charlie Adam if it's a penalty. 

Best long shot of the season, albeit not a Red, would have to be Tim Howard.  Wind aided, but still impressive.
