Is this the first competetive match for us this season? Or we have any Europa League qualifying match before that??

Somebody's already mentioned that Clark will only be aware of how Kenny set the team up, the good point is Clarke hasn't worked with Buck at Liverpool so is in the dark regarding Bucks tactics !

Also Steve Clark will not know what players will line up for that first match,if we take notice of the Summer Transfer Board we could have 11 new players kicking off for us.I know that is a bit farfetched but even with 2 or 3 new players the whole system could change to what we had last season.

I remember reading an article online where it explains the permutations and combinations of how a premier league fixture is made. It also goes on to explain the conditions they look for when it comes to deciding matches on the starting day, boxing day, derbies, new year, end of the year fixture etc. I am unable to find that article now. Can anyone help me find this?

No doubt it's a tough start but i'd be happy with in around 12 points from the 1st 6 games. Our home form not great last season but who says we can't turn Anfield into a fortress again this season?  If we happen to be in the hunt come March, I think it's a very good run in for us!!

I think the fitness of Dagger and Skrtel will be of immense importance here. We need to be inpenetrable during the opening month and a hlf and with both fit I have high hopes on that one.

I thought that we get straight into the group stage since Chelsea won the CL, so we take their Europa spot from the FA Cup?

No they dont deserve anything. High flying c*nts just because they pipped us for the CL spot. I wish they remain lower midtable forever.

Has anyone got an outlook calendar export file for the fixtures please? The one on the official site doesn't work.
