Suarez started against Sunderland on the opening day last season having not long returned from the Copa America when we didnt think he would...
And there are two games prior to the Arsenal game if he is to be left out of any?
Yeah, I remember what you mean. Suarez came back from the Copa America and then we gave him 2 weeks off to relax, and he only had a few days training and was selected into the starting eleven when we played Sunderland on the opening day of the premier league.
When he gets back from the Olympics, he will only have a few days before the premier league campaign starts so unlike last season, he wouldn't have had that two week break, so I feel that we'd be slightly more careful on him.
Also, it is a different manager in charge so they may have different methods of bring players from injury, ie starting the player rather than bring him on from the bench.
If we do decide to rest him, by playing him on the bench for a couple of games, the Arsenal game would probably be the expected game where he'd start.
