Top Half:
Think Man City will be too strong again. Arsenal have bought well and if their signings can hit the ground running they'll do well. On their dreadful start put them off the pace of the top 2 last season. Think Man Utd will be there or there abouts as always. Think we have a decent shot of 4th, don't think Di Matteo is that good, his record in the league was abysmal last season (worse than AVB's). Spurs players might miss Harry's man-managing skills, AVB is much more of a pure tactician and might struggle at first. Modric saga isn't helping them either.Everton will be solid, Martin O'Neill gets the best out of mediocre teams. Newcastle won't be nearly as successful I think, teams will have sussed them out. If Ba and Cisse have a goal drought then their defence isn't as strong as the teams I put above them.
Bottom Half:
Reading have splashed the cash and improved their defence a lot, can see them doing similar to Norwich last term. QPR have made some good signings so will improve. Villa will be unspectacular, I don't think it's beyond the impossible to see them get sucked into a relegation fight but expect them to do okay ultimately. WBA I think will be okay, Steve Clarke might take a few weeks to learn the ropes but think he has enough tactical nouse to keep them up. Allardyce knows how to keep teams up. Wigan always defy the odds, don't dare put them in the bottom 3. Swansea will suffer from losing their manager badly I think, have they replaced Caulker? Lost midfield lynch-pin in Allen. Don't think Laudrup will be able to imitate Rodger's style from last season. Southampton haven't improved their defence at all and I think will go down as a result. Norwich had a woeful defensive record last season and this season it'll be there downfall, change in manager won't help them either like Swansea. A year of second-season syndrome ahead I think!
