The worst thing is that Allen is Brendan's poster boy so he wont be dropped and Gerrard is untouchable it seems. I haven't been one of Sahin's fans this season but it was interesting to note he didn't even make the bench today, so he's not just fallen from the pecking order he's going to become the forgotten man it seems.

It would be very easy to have a Pop at the Boss on todays result but as Daz pointed out correctly Rodgers needs to play to our current squads strengths not to his philosophy, when we have the personnel to play a solid 4-3-3 that is the time to implement.

      Go back to 4-2-3-1.

Ita a shame we dont have a Adam or Spearing to support our current mid-field,Gerrard needs pushing up high as possible because he is of no use to us in his current position.

QPR 2  Fulham 1    Gents and Ladies.

'arry has got them sorted. Us next.

At least Harry when at Spurs had FOUR strikers to rotate. Options options options.
Two lightning wingers.  No f.....ing Tiki Taka sh*te. I do that all day long in the garden with my boys.
Doesn't mean you can score unless you have a Messi / Villa on the end of it.

      West Ham.

Was going to put Imagination doing that song but the vid was worse than watching the game

      So feel very spared.

Joe Allen. The Welsh Xavi ?   My arse. :lmao:

We are not playing well but it's not that bad to wish for an Adam or Spearing !

Evident we haven't been doing crossing drills. Our crosses went into the box for the sake of going in. Sterling looks lost when on the ball.
Evident our centre halves are behaving like champions - nothing more to train for. No longer a need to train harder. Every area has been perfected. The result is you get trampled upon.

And may I add that Villa's second goal looked like they have perfected their drills.

Just got back from the game, safe to say we were utterly sh*te, too much sideways passing and that Benteke bullied our defence all through the game, three very good goals from them.

And whoever it was who said fans were getting off at the 82nd minute, they were wrong, some were leaving after the 3rd villa goal.

Also a lot of fans starting to kick off about the continuous passing, yep it looks pretty, but we're still struggling to break teams down. Interesting to see Villa pressing very high up the pitch, every time our back four had the ball.

Bad day all round for us.

And yet if Suarez had played Gerrard in with surely the simplest pass any of our players have f*cked up all season, I'm convinced we would have won comfortably. Small margins and all that.

The Rodgers revolution was shown what it is today a myth. The worrying thing is he seems to think Sturridge and ince will solve the problem is most worrying.

Just out of work and didn't see this result coming at all.

I might have done two or three weeks ago but I thought our form over the last few weeks was improving enough for me not to worry about Aston Villa.

      How wrong was I then.

Or maybe if Gerrard had tried taking a shot instead of trying to square to Suarez, or maybe if we'd actually finally been given a pen or maybe instead of trying to play it around the box like a second rate Arsenal and someone actually had the balls to have a shot etc etc.

No point trying to dress it up, we were sh*te today!

Thanks we are brothers and share a lot of the same views. Not all though. He has told me all about you so think it's best I avoid you. Benkte looks a decent player see what good scouting can pick up. Better player than Sturridge for half the price.

It was love at first sight between your brother and George but went downhill very rapidly. :D

Back to the game and were we as sh*t as a 3-1 defeat to Villa suggests?

I still hold those PM's very close to my heart

And I think the result reflects how well they took their chances and they deserved to win mate

Why wasn't sahin in the squad. I'd play him ahead of Allen at the moment as he is really struggling.

Be careful what you wish for, I know a fella in Wrexham called Xavi and according to legend he has a penis like a horse.  :o ;)

As for the match, I've only heard reports but I'm sure it'll be first match on MOTD seeing as we lost.

Apparently it was because of his broken nose.

Too depressed to talk... still, just want to say one thing:

I want to kill bloody Reina, so Rodgers won't choose him over Jones ever again.

      Jones
      Carra     Coates
      Johnson                Enrique
      Hendo     Sahin
      Pacheco
      Suso                     Assaidi
      Suarez

^ Yeah maybe that many changes is a knee-jerk, and I'll probably calm down over the next few hours, but this team should get a serious boot up the ass after today.
You may intend it as a joke, but to me it looks great.

Especially Jones and Coates in the starting 11. Why BR doesn't get it is beyond me.
