we can't afford to sack anyone for the next 5 years. But Brendan has to find out why we only play every other game.the inconsistency is scary.
Our midfield is all over the place it neither protects the back four or creates goals.

No, I want to give him a few seasons, but thats what I mean, there is a knee jerk part of my brain which
is saying get him out and get Rafa back. As things stand we are no better than under Kenny.

But at the same time I keep thinking BR could be our Ferguson if we give him long enough to work things
      out.

Shelvey isn't even looking for the ball. Johnson left him a nice little ball and he ran right past it like he was in a race to get to the end line.

Forget its stoke, forget everything. We have been sh*te and given the ball away so badly we deserve f**k all. We can't defend.

Absolutely. The passing at times has been primary school error type. However taking nothing away from Stoke. We could learn some things from them tonight. Maybe not their style of play but more their effort and bite. It's bitterly disappointing that Liverpool don't have those qualities and haven't for a very long time.

I can't bear to watch this anymore , it's horrible , outclassed by Stoke.
We just seem devoid of ideas and  they all look sh*t scared of Stoke. We're supposed to be getting better as we get used to the system!!

Don't know what the system has to do with not marking somebody on a corner, or a defender falling on his arse to be honest. Quite honestly no matter the formation or system if one of our 2cb's falls on his arse there is going to be a hole for the attacking player to take advantage of.

Doesn't just have to be the goals conceded or the manner they were conceded in.

Can you honestly say we've looked in control of this game ?

The system does leave us vulnerable as it has the midfield and the full backs pushed so high up the pitch, leaving our two centerbacks exposed.

As that is right now, Stoke are trying to exploit it, by hitting us on the counter at every opportunity.

Amazing Enrique gets tackled twice from behind and nothing, Shelvey gets tangled and he gets cautioned.

We used to have effort and bite at the very heart of our teams and when you put quality on top of that we had success we lack all three attributes now.

We wouldn't have to worry about that if we weren't so stupid in possession. That said the system dictates that you have to be top drawer in the possession department if you are to succeed. This Liverpool team just are not top drawer at all.

this isn't a team of 11 strangers the best part of it have been together for a few seasons and this season they have played over 30 games consistency in performance should be there by now.

They haven't done anything off the counter, their goals came from a hoofed ball where Skrtel slipped, a corner, and a throw

Really think this has been a wake up call for many of us , I just hope it has the same effect on Brendan and the players.
We are in for a really rough ride for the rest of the season if he doesn't improve things.
