We need someone to step up in midfield regardless. Klopp mentioned and it was clear to see, that midfield was an issue for us even as we got the good result at Bayern Munich. It may be that Klopp is preparing to give Grujic an expanded role. Certainly I expect more of Can as he rounds into match fitness, but we need improvement there.

Of course we also need improvement in the back.

Barkley would be a handy player to have.. on footballing ability he has a lot of potential. Last season was not his best but I have seen him at his best, all be it on Match of the day. Pundits said he was fantastic in those games. I do agree with the majority who don't want him here though, mainly because I think he is a bit of a n*b-head.

Everton is his level can't see him improving as he doesn't have a good enough work ethic.

With our injuries stacking up before the season even begins I expect our bench to be full of kids against Watford.

This will be a motivator to start signing (at least I hope/think it will)

Neymar signing will open up the flood gates. PSG must sell now. Spurs will spend some money soon. Barca will buy. Etc. These last 4 weeks will be crazy. Also, once the CL qualifiers are over I think you will see teams be more active. The last month will be crazy, and the final week will be epic. Lets hope we don't botch it

PSG don't have to sell anyone...you do realize how they jobbed FFP right? They are basically signing Neymar for free. Neymar was paid 300m by the Qatar group that owns PSG to be a representative for the World Cup coming there. He used that money to buy out his contract from Barca and then PSG is signing him on a free.

Also, he could be a great cover for Lallana. Whos been playing deeper for us and is now 29.  Barkley is 23 and wants a new move. Personally doesn't seem like a terrible move to me.
