The Gunners are in a bidding war with Liverpool for 22-year-old PSV Eindhoven forward Hirving Lozano, who is valued at Ā£42m. (Daily Star)
Sh*t source but what a player he seems to be. Saw him play a couple of times for Pachuca and Mexico and he always looked like a real talent. Hit the ground running since moving to Holland as well.
Just wouldn't say another wide player/forward to be a priority right now.
He is absolutely brilliant. Saw him live for Mexico against Belgium a few months ago.
Can play anywhere across the front three and he might not really be a wide player in our system. The way he plays, I can totally see him being a stand-in for Firmino. He has that same tenacity, workrate, ball winning ability, good technical player and he's prolific in front of goal. Perhaps the Sturridge replacement? Firmino - Lozano - Solanke looks good to me. Not a lot of experience there, but that's a lot of talent.
11 goals and 7 assists in 19 league games so far. Might only be the Dutch Eredivisie and he plays for by far the best team in the league, but those are still very nice numbers.
If anyone likes watching young players, there's two more I really like that I think would fit our team, both young. Thorgan Hazard (Borussia Mƶnchen Gladbach, Eden Hazard's brother) and Leon Bailey (Leverkusen). Great players.
