The trouble with Milner at LB isn’t that he can’t do a job it’s that he’s not offering what Robbo does in terms of defensive solidity and finding pockets of space.

Nothing from Adam lately suggests to me he's even remotely able to play the type of football we do now mate.

I think he can. He had a couple of good appearances this year but he just can’t stay fit.

I don't think many of us thought the squad was as thin as it is and it was exposed last night as soon as we had to put on a 16 year old CB.
The problem is who is available who could sit comfortably alongside Virgil?.

Definitely we are not spending that buddy!

Fekir was supposed to be Cou's replacement but that mantle has fallen on Shaqiri. Wilson will be a first team player for sure next season and could be Lallana's replacement (squad player). Solanke gone, probably Studge and Origi in the summer - so, cue the Werner links. Got a feeling that Milner will be let go if Leeds get promoted, so we might be after a young CM (Hopefully Aouar)

Yup it really showed up how useless Stu, Moreno and Mignolet are. We would be better off with more young lads out there last night.

Milner probably won't be getting a new contract now. It expires in summer. He's on 120k a week or something.

Fantastic servant to the club Milner but it looks like he is finally starting to run out of steam and age catching up with him, either that or he's playing with an injury at the moment but he has looked very slow recently.

He's picked up a few injuries this season.
Ideally he'd not be getting as much game time, so that's probably hampered his recovery.
Milner's old school so probably used to playing through niggles.

More likely than not Milly ends up back at Leeds next season. He deserves to finish off where he started and there's no way the club would get in the way of that IMO.
