Well we do seem to have some sort of unofficial channel to Red Bull: Naby, Taki and Ibou in the space of a few years. Suggests that Ibou won't be the last player we source from their 2 teams.

Hopefully not Daka though. Doesn't look anything special. Loads of crappy goals in a farmers' league. Taki was more impressive than Daka and look how he's struggled in a far stronger league.

I've just read that Zambia will not take part in next season's AFCON, so this rumour just got a lot more interesting.

Good call on Romero. He’s wasted away as 3rd choice at United and would make a great backup to Alisson.

Adrian just needs to go. If not Romero i rather get Karius back from Berlin than have to see Adrian again next season.

I honestly can’t see the point in loaning out a keeper when he has the ability already, Kelleher is only short in games played, so lending him out for more games is futile because when he comes back off loan he’ll be sat on the bench anyway, so he may as well stay put and work with Achterberg, Allison et al on the training paddock, and when he is called upon he’s as ready as he can ever be, I cannot for the life of me see the point of him going on loan to another club where standards will be lower than what he can work with at Kirby, yes he may gain game time but at what level and what type of goalkeeping used.

Because I think you cannot replicate game environment in training and to get better he needs to play consistently. However, you’re right that if he goes out on loan he’ll be back next season to sit on the bench, which is why I think his long term future is not with us. Alisson is only 28 which is young for a goalie and would have easily 5 years at the top of his game or near it. Not sure Kelleher would want to wait til he’s 27 to even have a shot at starting.

There is absolutely no way Edwards and Klopp don’t have a coherent plan in place to address this.
