New players always train in whatever training kit is available.

Yeah they do. It's probably down to wearing the right size more than anything else.

Some outrageous ball skill, ridiculous some of it. If he can produce a few of those tricks while people are trying to kick lumps out of him, we'll have ourselves a right player. Must say though those who said he was a number 10 earlier in the piece are probably wrong at this stage, he looks an out and out wide man to me. Might be an early end to Assaidi's Anfield career which is a shame, hjowever I've a hunch we might make a couple of quid profit on him.
Don't think he's an out and out wide men mate, you maybe right but we can wait and see. I said he's to be our no.10 but I'm agree at the beginning (if we can sign him :)) his most possible position under BR's 4-4-3 is out wide. Also I still think I don't see BR use the flair no.10 much in his system except the time he played Suarez off Sterridge as look like we played 4-2-3-1 so not sure if BR will adjust the formation. Plus I think until he settle in the league and build up his physical he will struggle in AMC role. Admitted I no see much of his creativity and vision which imo important for the AMC but I'm confident he can develop by experience.

      he'll be simply...    awesome.

we needed a couple of good signings this window and here we are, Sturridge and Courtinho.

So Sturridge and Coutinho in, with Cole and Sahin out.  Considering that we've strengthened the squad in a weak area (striker wise) and lost Sahin, a midfielder (a position we have alot of cover in), as well as getting rid of Joe Cole and bringing in this lad, it's been a good transfer window so far eh?

20.5 million spent, but we've probably saved on the wage bill by quite a bit.

jovanovic i remember got number 10 but then we signed cole and he had to change. neither were good enough of course.

i think this is fake but awesome for a fake. just because he is in a random location and because I think the shirt will have the prem style lettering not our european style.

if it's fake i bet he'll get number 17. maybe too young for the pressure of 10. then again he is brasillian.

The picture is a photoshop image from when Assiadi signed. It is taken at BR's office at Melwood.

Delighted with the signing. Will take him time to settle and no guarantee that it will work out.

Come on Semple - he could be a top player from the off..! Skill, Pace and Finishing - perhaps the next Suarez?! Lets be optamistic here!
