Suarez or Torres?

Torres is a better number 9. Suarez is a better footballer. He is involved in every play and works all game. I remember times when Torres would go missing because he relies heavily on service.

Suarez could slot into any team in the world and improve them dramatically. It's hard to say, but I don't think it was the same with Torres.

As good as he was if he was in the same role as Suarez the past 18 month's (no support/no back-up) and forced to create everything himself and carry this club I doubt you would have been so impressed with him....Great finisher no doubt but creator?

Rafa was instrumental in in transforming Torres' form at Anfield, the ovenrriding opinion is there has been a marked improvement in Torres' game since Rafa's arrival, no reason why history can't repeat itself.
If the lad did recapture that magical form there might be grounds for a comparison with Luis, he has got a long way to go it has to be said.

Everyteam has a plan B. I mean if a strategy does not work, we do something else. The best example is Dzeko for Man City. Chicharito for ManU too. As for Arsenal and Tottenham they have many players able to do different things and play differently(hoof when needed or play superb football). I would have liked to have a Torres or Kuyt today, I guess they would have scored had they played in this team tonight.

Our plan A is just too weak sometimes, how can Downing be in a plan A in a club like Liverpool!? And seriously, it's clear that without Suarez we're very unlikely to score.

I think we should make sure to get a Plan C in case Plan B doesn't work. Also, wouldn't hurt to have a Plan D in the event that Plan C totally biffs.
