Damien Plesiss. When I saw him in the reserves/youth he looked a player. When I saw him at Arsenal in the 1st team I thought we have a beast here. Where is he now/ Did he regress as a player or is he doing well?

No, returned to Rushden and Diamonds after being released by the club.

Remember a little winger called Gary Mackay-Steven? Was at the club from 07-09 before being released due to injury. Played one season in the Scottish 3rd tier before signing a contract with Dundee Utd in the SPL. He's had two great seasons with them, in all he has 11 goals and 17 assists in 63 games.

Scored an injury time winner today. Also, he's been called up by Scotland.

Yep. Know his progress well having followed the Thurso lad (from the VERY TOP of Scotland!) from his move from Ross County to Liverpool at youth level. Was a big deal in the local press at the time. Very decent player for Dundee United.

Vegard Heggem? Still a keen follower of the club I hear but is now running his own salmon fishing lodge in Norway.

From what I read, he was doing very well at Sporting. Not sure the Atletico move was right for him though?

Definitely one I would have kept, could have turned into a handy homegrown squad player for us. Shame he had to play so many games so early due to Aurelio's injuries.
