That really was an awesome moment mate, made Sturridge look sluggish. Been really impressed with Kolo, really impressed.

I go for Mignolet my motm. All our players played well especially Coutinho, Toure, Lucas, Sturridge and Hendo.
Aspas if he play more games with the team think he could do better, this game he's decent imo.

Been that way for decades mate they come here to make their names...bas**rds

Begovic played a blinder, the two saves from Hendo were amazing, not to mention the others throughout the game (Stevie's FK stands out also). Ah well, at least we are creating a number of chances (26 shots according to the BBC!). Hopefully we start to convert more of these shots into goals!

With this players plus Skrtel, Siqueira/Cissokho, Willian and Suarez, we finally can play for Top 4!

Well that put us Liverpool fans through the wringer.  Think I'll start off with Stoke.  They started playing football but they soon reverted to type. Begovic was outstanding and Pieters looks a tidy little player and Huth is in no way a footballer.  They're going to struggle this season.

As for us, Mignolet grew into the game, Johnson and Enrique were solid, Agger, despite the handball, and Toure look so comfortable as a partnership, Gerrard was tidy and denied by a good save, Henderson was terrier-like and starting to remind me of Houghton.  Coutinho was great, Aspas had a good debut and Sturridge looked good, if lacking a little match sharpness.  Sterling looked a little lost at times, in The Land of the Giants.

Lucas, for me, was a step above all ours today, on and off the ball, harrying, protecting and starting attacks.

Not sure if my heart will take another 37 of those this league season.

Had the old 'here we go again' moment when Agger conceded the penalty but Mignolet saved the day.

I took Lucas for MOM I thought he broke them down so many times and distributed the ball really well.Big player for us this season

I know Mignolet saved the pen, but it's Lucas for my man of the match.

Really impressive performances by all the players. Can't really single out a MOM player. All did great for individual reasons, but the collective was just inspiring.  If it wasn't for Begovic between the sticks, it would've been a rout for sure.

Bodes well for the season, and I think it'll have to be a bloody good team to beat us. Very impressed by the way BR has pushed the playing style forward. Long may it continue. ..

Yes, that much is obvious, but it doesn't make him the man of the match though - at least not in my book

Good start for us but we must stand with feet on the ground and not go into euphoria ... it was just a game , we have a big run to do .

Played very well first half, seemed to take the foot off the gas second half and you could sence the tension building towards the end, it would have been a travesty if Stoke had come away with anything, but we have to finish teams like Stoke off if we want to finish 4th
