Jonjo £5m - influenced four goals. Aspas £7m - went missing.

it is still a good result and the unbeaten run goes on.Aspas is on a par with Borini just too lightweight both in body and in mind.Look at Couthino small as a bird but see's everything before it happens.

In the end a fortunate point.  At half time I thought we should easy win.

Very disappointing second half - something of a pattern emerging this season with regards to it.

Not sure what the problem is but we were schooled there by an average Swansea side.

When under pressure we are hopeless at keeping the ball - nobody seems to have any stamina in the side.

If our tactic is to try and win games in the first half and then try defending for a full second half then all of us are going to be dead from high blood pressure within 3 months.

Aspas is so bad I cannot believe it.

Once again we completely get raped in the second half praying for the end whistle, Brendan cant change the game at all.

Swansea were playing how we want to play, we play like some kind of a bad Stoke where we cant string 2-3 passes together and hoof it up top hoping for something, but at least Stoke had some teeth, we have Aspas.

Sturridge has been saving our asses. Skrtel and Sakho played well.

Man of the match has to be Jonjo for me saved our ass big time.

Aspas was not just non existent, he was visibly and painfully sh*te, boy bottles it every 50/50 and has no quality attributes.
2-2 will do, main thing is we're top of the league and we can learn from this.

That shows why when people say Coutinho has been quiet or off his game, I disagree strongly. Our possession and territory went when he came off. His movement and dribbling is second to none in our team.

Aspas was f**king woeful. That last chance was there to be had. Think he lost it every time he touched it.

Sh*t second half. Lucas is piss.

Agreed, Coutinho has been our stand out performer all game and when we came off our attacks disappeared, coincidence? no, he kept the team going and his movement is first class, always there to receive the pass, something that his teammates should learn to do

Oof... now that second half was a bit worrying. Did we have a single chance on goal? We've got to sort that out. The amount of possession we had in the first half has got to be taken into the second. Swansea are a good footballing team but we'll be punished if we have a half like that against the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City... We were lucky to cling on to a draw IMHO. Still... top of the league!

      Rattled by shithouse footballers.
      Williams was a disgrace.

Worrying that we had little composure when Phil went off.

      Anyway.
      Top of the league.

Would have been nicer to have more cushion, but I'll take that after the 2nd half headless chicken fest.

Fair play to them they played well 2nd half and losing Coutinho is huge for us WHEN we're still missing Luis.

No finger pointing or whinging from me. We've a very winnable home game against Saints this Saturday and then we will be welcoming our best player back into he side still sitting top of the Premiership.

There are a few issues to address but it was so important to make a good start this season and the truth is it couldn't have gone much better so it's happy days for me.

2 in his own net though. Rather have a player that didn't cost us 2 goals a game.

Also, give Aspas a break, yeah he was shocking when he came on, and he's not pulled up any trees yet but he needs more time to adjust before we judge him.

Always said this was going to be a tricky one. We played well first half I thought though.

Kind of disappeared in the second half. Think Sterling should have come on for Coutinho and maybe Ibe for Moses. Glad we salvaged a draw out of that one, Swansea played fantastically well in the second half; that or we were just piss poor.

On the bright side we are back on top! ;D Bring on Southampton on Saturday!

Great 1st half, but my God that 2nd half was squeaky bum time. A good result in the end but let's hope Coutinho is OK, or we could be in real trouble.
Really don't know what to make of that 2nd half, we were dreadful.

ANOTHER shocking second half performance, maybe now we've dropped points as a result of it we might work on it.

Really struggling to understand what happens to us, we just forget to pass it and isolate Sturridge completely.

Poor second half again this is becoming all to familiar, all the games we have played we have faded in the second half, Brendon has to sort it and soon. Thought Aspas was shocking tonight, Sturidge seem to loose his concentration late on

When under pressure we are hopeless at keeping the ball

      So frustrating it's unbelieveable!

You watch the same situations, where they cooly slot the ball around and keep possession, and we look like a bunch of bloody schoolkids.

Especially after an international break you'd expect us to have much more energy

It's usually a case of the international break, breaking your stride I feel. We've always come back from an international break with a bit of a hangover. That's why I wasn't confident going into this.

Was Henderson supposed to fill the hole vacated by Courtinho?
