Didnt anyone think Suarez was specifically instructed to pass the ball when entering the box. He made some decissions that last year would have been different (he would have shot for sure). Anyway, i found it strange. Also think him and Daniel were instructed to press up, but not to track down.

Supporting the team as ever. I hope Brendan appreciates the vote of confidence, not sure he totally deserves it.
There is no bitterness about how he was treated, says an awful lot about KK. Not sure that FSG deserved him!

I tought he made some one touch passes i couldnt even replicate on my Xbox  ;)
i didnt get the feeling he was sulking or unhappy, just designated to a certain position on the field. Maybe he was just regulating effort, or maybe he wasnt arsed. Pick yours!

the big problem is that we cannot do without him and that is not how it should be I cannot remember another Liverpool player saying he wanted to leave under these circumstances. Its a very sad state of affairs to have to rely on a player who gave us the finger in August

I thought this was our best all round performance this season.. Over two halves.
Yes we lost but I think this formation needs to be worked on and used more than our negative style that seems to be the weapon of choice this season, slight blip this result in the greater scheme of things. We did lose to our bitter foes who smell so bad especially with giant eyes appearing when I'm tring to eat food..
Suarez did well all things considered, Sakho really made me more comfortable in what a colossus he really is.
We aren't the finished article and BR needs to check his f'n brains out with his subs.
Sterling will never cut it as a great Liverpool player, Ibe I think will. My opinion, but that's all I have. When I see Sterling come on I think OMG are we going to the opera with his fruity-armed runs and poncy shots. We will witness him waste thousands of balls in future and all be going oo he's going to be the next big thing.

I've always respected him as a player but I can't forgive his summers actions.
I love and respect the club far too much.

Nothing personal just don't like the whole situation

He may have been rusty, but thought he still looked most likely.

Understand were you're coming though. Hopefully his performances will eventually win people around again...

Not the ones who don't like the club being treated like sh*te.

It's a short term solution. He will be gone next summer anyway

It was man u away to be fair and they were going to respond to the derby hammering. Despite their weakened team they have more stability than us and are not having to integrate a new system plus new players. The next two are must wins. We can't get to the emirates too many points adrift if we're going a threaten the top 4

Its not only him though is it in my opinion these owners have no respect for this club whatsoever and certainly had no respect for a man who deserved so much more .

l like see more of younger players give chance tonight, l know lt was against man utd but l worried that full team should be beating weak man utd team, we know as fans and even manger, we still short 3 or 4 really good players in area midfield winger and other top forward

      Agree.

Even possible they did as Luis said and told him he could leave.

It's one reason I hold back a bit when criticising Suarez antics this summer. Considering the people we have in charge it's easy to believe some element of truth in Luis story.

A far too regular occurrence, Enrique switching off, cost us the goal and marred a very good performance from him.  Never a corner though, should have been our free kick. Overall though, a poor final ball cost us all game, we just didn't seem to quite connect up front. A bit more composure from Henderson and a better first touch from Moses, Suarez & Sturridge, at times and it could easily have been a different story.

I'm still completely at a loss as to why the goal was Gerrards fault as some were claiming at the time? Maybe people were listening to it on the radio in their car or something?

100% Enriques man, as Carra pointed out in the post match breakdown. He also pointed out that Enrique had lost his man a few times on previous corners.

Just to revisit the "it was their reserves" comments I've seen. I've been of the opinion all season that Ferdinand is flat out finished and Evans is the better player these days. The left back is a youngster (albeit quite a good one), while Nani, Rooney, Kagawa, Hernandez, De Dea etc are hardly second string players of the like you run into every week. Put it this way, if THAT team played in the Premiership under another name they'd finish top eight at least.
