Wow. You must be a superb troll or Moses' agent because there is no justification whatsoever towards your defence of him.

      Class player???!  :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Thanks for that! I needed a good laugh to calm me down!

No justification for the moaning too, but nevermind eh.

Glad thats over. Said they would play decent footy if we gave them enough room, and thats just what we did. Not sure if it's our poor defending, or if we go too gung ho, with to many attacking players, and get left a bit lightweight in the middle when it breaks down.
Whichever way you see it, it needs sorting quickly if we have ambitions for anything better than 4th, or even holding on to 4th.
Sturridge was probably our best player, but soured it a bit, going for the hat trick again when he could have got Louis in. Especially after Louis set his header up with a perfect cross.
For that reason, i'm voting for Hendo, who like everyone else today, wasn't on the top of his game, but still put in a good deal of graft. Few sloppy passes, but broke play up for us a good deal today.
3 more points in the bag, but need to do better. Never thought i'd have to say that after scoring 4 goals either.
      Now come on Norwich.

Put it this way, they have a weak defense and a strong attack and the same goes for us, except our attack and defence is slightly better than Swansea. Nothing much separates the two teams, we need to up a few gear in our defense, we're simply too slow to get the ball out of our own half. Hendo's goal is a classic display determination, urgency, commitment and a never say die attitude to force the ball over the line.

Genuinely can't see us winning the league unless we sort our defense out. Mignolet looks terrified at the moment.... and who can blame him when we defend like that.

Has to share responsibility too though mate. It's actually really irritating me now how rooted to his line he's getting.

      I'm glad Moses got on.

It's been a while since some fans have had a class player to moan about and criticise for no reason at all.

If that makes you happy then great.

The lad could score 10 goals, and still he'd be called a disgrace.

Once he's gone, perhaps Lucas will collect the haters again. They got to keep hating somebody. ;)

      Huh?

Credit to Swansea for not sitting back. Maybe we wouldn't have got the win if they decided to park the bus after 3-3. As a team, we played horrible. Didn't understand the Sterling sub and pushing Coutinho out wide. Allen played well when he came on but, a win's a win. Hope we improve drastically next match.

Couldn't really pick out a player for MOTM  as there was no stand out performances but I'll go with Henderson just because of his winning goal.

Maybe we should return to the earlier 3 central defenders and wing backs. That set up only failed against Arsenal at the Emirates.
adding numbers won't solve the calamity at the back. I'd try Agger and Sakho in CB when Sakho returns soon. Skrtel has to be dropped and Toure isn't far behind Skrtel in that respect either.  At the moment I'd use Toure as cover over Skrtel right now though.

Aye, so I should write a book about the game? I've already commented on the game, and continue to.
Write that book if you want. Still thought it was a bloody strange thing to comment on seeing as there were a 101 other things you could have said that were much more relevant.

Like Allen probably being our best player. You know; anything!

Have to agree, it's a vicious circle though, as in Migs makes the defence edgy and the defence makes everyone edge

It was never about the performance.

And it won't be for the rest of the season.

      Just win.

      We did.

If mignolet was more assertive in the box and controlled his area a bit more I think our defenders would look less nervous.

Maybe, but they were doing the same thing last season in front of Reina.
      Seems harsh blaming Mignolet.
Right enough, I do think they would have been less nervous if there'd been somebody else as well as Gerrard occupying the space in front of them.
Evry time Swansea broke past the press from our attacking players, it was open country all the way to our back 4. They could have had 3 goals before they actually did score.
Was surprised how long it took Brendan to fix that as well.

Question of which comes first the chicken or the egg mate. Is he rooted to his line because he doesn't trust our defence, or is our defence shaky because Mignolet is not coming out?

I agree that Mignolet has to dominate his box more (or even move his feet a little) but I don't think he was at fault for their goals.... our defence was!

I would have chosen Sturridge or Henderson.

Suarez had a poor game by his standards though, and I wasn't happy with his moaning at Sturridge all the time. He needs to be kept in line a little, as it put unnecessary pressure on Sturridge.

Couts went totally missing but Suarez looking knackered both mentally and physically is what's really worrying me.

Motherfucking horse sh*t defending again..... but we won! So exhale slowly. Ultimately 4-3, 2-1, 1-0, etc. are all just one-goal games, happy we (eventually) held on. 3 points is 3 points is 3 points.

Incredibly frustrating defensive display though. Shelvey scored a great goal -- can't take that away from Swansea other than Henderson should've been quicker in closing him down. Skrtel gives a stupid foul away and on the free kick Johnson loses his marker for the second. Skrtel concedes a dumb penalty that had been coming all season long.

All good points, can't argue with any of them

I've always thought Studge and Suarez have that 'prickly' kind of relationship off field.

      Ridiculous really.

Brendan Rogers must have been clueless to have brought him to Anfield then.

How much game time has Moses had to warrant your poor opinion of him?

Went for sturridge MOTM,for me he was our stand out player,we didn't play that well, and didn't press like we did against Arsenal and Everton ,saying that swansea turned up,and were better than i thought they would be,even at 4-3 i was nervous until the whistle went, but a win is a win,and we know we can play a lot better.
