Johnson, poor defensively, poor positioning, poor attacking. Losing possession, too many  incomplete passes. Not enough telling tackles.

So where is Martin Kelly ? He couldn't possibly do any worse. Might even give the centre backs a bit more confidence.

Did Johnson even realise that a poor game by him could cause serious damage to us? BR must have a serious meeting with him and Mignolet.

Johnson Yes. Migs was just weak in clearing his lines.

We certainly want to do it the hard way - but then just ask Citeh and the Chavs how easy games are at the moment.  We've all conceded two, just we were the only ones to score three.  That sums up our season and philosophy though.  We deserve to be where we are - these are the games that define a season.

Another outstanding performance from Heemio - his development and improvement into such an all round player has been stunning this season, and he can get better.

Thank F**k for that. Glen Johnson has got to pull his F***ing finger out, jogging around the pitch and letting them cross the ball far too easily. Can't stand him right now.

I think they will. Madrid are far too good for them. If they end up with extra tiredness and a couple injuries for next weekend then I wouldn't complain. His comments yesterday were embarrassing and the difference in class between him and Brendan is there for all to see.

Sterling probably clear MOTM, but I'll go with Skrtel.  Thought he had a solid game at the back while others seem to struggle a bit today.  Got the three points, which at this stage is the most important thing.

Performances not important now and today we dug in and still got the 3 points.

Allen, Skrtel and Sterling all immense!

The lad Sterling played with no pressure. Does he even know we're on for the title?!

Immense calm and composure these last two matches - he really has been the difference between 6 points and a couple.

I thought Allen did very well also. A lot of interceptions and some good tackling, ruffled a few feathers with Norwich when they were on top. Thought Lucas was poor in midfield, offered nothing whatsoever. Getting Sturridge back will be good so Sterling can sit back a bit more and offer some attacking threat which Lucas did none of.

Johnson needs to pull his finger out and put in an extra shift. He played like there was nothing to play for. Absolute fool. And Mignolet for fucks sake get your act together for crosses.

Johnson can play well but sometimes he's shocking.  All players have dips in form but when it's Johnson he forgets how to play football.  I seriously can't see him getting a contract extension because of the wages. Looks like he's going to go on a free. If real Madrid really want him for 5 million I'd take it. Good we won though. .. it means if we slip up against chelsea we have a safety net and if we win chelsea are out the title race mathematically and city's chance would be very slim indeed.

F***ing hell Reds, that was another nervy one.

Go two up and suddenly stop playing. That pissing about at the back was infuriating to say the least. But once again we've got the win. And that's all that F***ing matters. 11 wins on the bounce.

Every one keeps asking how we deal with certain pressure - well we'll deal with it by winning.

Just got back from the match, makes a change from the normal hundreds of miles to and fro games.

Great result in the end, but fcuk we were hanging on a bit at the end! Toss up between Martin and Raheem for MOM for me.

Migs is a liability on crosses, and doesn't seem to command his area like he should. As for Johnson, you would have thought it was a training game the way he strolled about. Never mind, 3 points we move on.
      Travelling Kop were magnificent again.
