Balotelli only plays for himself he is the antithesis of a Rodgers and even more importantly a Liverpool player.

I would not say no.

Just not consistent enough, and while everything he did 'was a laugh' at Man City - if he did it whilst at Liverpool you'd have the media up in arms crying about him.

Never taken to Mario....fully appreciate he is a very talented player and is in excellent physical shape but i find him very frustrating and far too inconsistent.
Saying that though, the manager that finally gets him to knuckle down and show his true potentially will be a frickin genius.
I just don't want anymore off the field issues or unsettling influences at the club for quite a while after the Suarez saga.

I agree. Talented lad (although he's been out of form), but a huge ego and a crazy one on and off the pitch.

I love the guy. Sure, he's controversial and does insanely stupid stuff, but he's also gifted with tremendous talent. Sure, you cannot change someone but you can control them. If Brendan can control the controversial side of Mario then we'll have a gem on our hands. Not sure BR would actually be after Mario, but I'd welcome him here with open arms. I don't think he'd upset the dressing room. He's just misunderstood.

For all his mysterious talent or whatever: he's not someone I admire, respect or I'd identify as being the type of player I want at the club I support.
Through his own antics he is in the bracket of my most annoying players in the world.
I couldn't take his disrespectful attitude and you can bet Brendan wouldn't take to it either, you could say he's young he can be coached to be more manageable but nope it's in him to be that arrogant and narcissistic.

He is very good and I'm sure if anyone can "get in his head "it would be Brendan and the team.
I get the feeling he "needs to be loved"and at Liverpool he would .
Think he needs someone like us to thrive as it were,as,he never really settled at city and his Milan career was hardly glittering,well worth a risk IMO.

If the 14 million quid stories are close to being true and he can be picked up on a sensible contract, I'd take him in a heartbeat. Absolute no brainer as far as I'm concerned.
