Wasn't it reported at at £346,000 per week by some, £15.4m (£300,000 aprox) by others.  Going by the lower of those two, he's been paid nearly £7,500 per minute on the pitch.  Even if we take your figure, it's over £5000 a minute.

Mate of course his salary is ridiculous im simply comparing two players on similar ridiculous salaries and pointing out that I consider one to be a much better player than the other.

Yes Falcao is on huge wages about £200k a week and he would have cost on the region of £50 million. But the only comparison I can draw between the players is both have prolific goal scoring records.

I think Cavani is more skilful, faster, hardworking, stronger, versatile and a better passer than Falcao.

Don't assume just because Falcao flopped with the Mancs Cavani would flop here. I think he would be brilliant for us.

Try 346k a week that Falcao is on at United.

The only assumption that I am making here is that for a player to demand the wages and fee at the very top end he would have to be a 30 goal a season striker neither Falcao or Cavani are.


Cavani has a paltry 8 goals this season and on course to match last seasons effort of 16 he is no spring chicken either and has about 2-3 years left at the very top, I for one am glad we dodged a bullet in throwing stupid money at him and Falcao.

Not like FSG would ever even do so anyway so this makes this argument purely hypothetical.

For me its all about seeing the bigger teams get through, basically anyone that is capable of beating Chelsea so I will be rooting for Madrid, Barca, Bayern etc.

I see City have been giving out plastic flags as well.
