Rode scored for Bayern tonight... was really disappointed to see him signing for them as they already have so much talent in the middle of the park he's little more than a rotation option there... but this guy is a very good midfielder, I really liked him at Frankfurt. He's still relatively young and I would expect him to become a full international in the near future.

YEah :D Didn't have the best of games in my opinion. Though Messi was sublime though, I really think he's getting back to his best.

I vote to close this thread because it hurts too much seeing it on the list of topics to read.

Wow, looking at the draw, we could've gone to the Quarter's and who knows what would've happened after that.

PSG vs Chelsea... it's pretty much a game of FIFA for the sickeningly wealthy. Piss poor so far.

1-0 Chelsea, Ivanovic header. Decent flick by Cahill but poor defending from PSG.

Ibrahimovic offers nothing to the team, he's the classic goal hanger. Yes he may score but give me Costa any day.

This game is boring as F**k. Costa also did more to Luiz in the first half than Markovic did against Basel, got to love UEFA!

Chelsea should be out of this game already. Ibra dazzled through and nearly scored, i think Cahill made a goal saving block without any idea where the ball was going.

      Expect Oscar for Fabregas soon.

      Fact.

And Cuadrado looks half the player of Shurrle.

      Really?

How much do you think Cavani's transfer fee would have been and how much would he have commanded in wages?

Would have been akin to what Falcao got in his deal with the Mancs, point being neither are worth it.

Yes Falcao is on huge wages about £200k a week and he would have cost on the region of £50 million. But the only comparison I can draw between the players is both have prolific goal scoring records.

I think Cavani is more skilful, faster, hardworking, stronger, versatile and a better passer than Falcao.

Don't assume just because Falcao flopped with the Mancs Cavani would flop here. I think he would be brilliant for us.
