      Isco (Real Madrid)
      Jul 20, 2014 03:58:34 pm
Liverpool have reportedly enquired about signing Real Madrid midfielder Isco this summer – despite the player insisting that he does not want to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.

The 22-year-old’s place at Los Blancos next term is under threat after Real signed Toni Kroos from Bayern Munich for an undisclosed fee this week.

With the club trying to find the funds to also lure James Rodriguez from Monaco, Spanish publication AS has reported that Isco could be sold this summer to make way for the Colombia international – with Liverpool leading the race for the Spain international’s signature.

Sevilla and Italian giants AC Milan are also believed to be interested in the midfielder, but, the player himself is unwilling to leave Real with Isco contracted to the capital club until 2018.

Rumours had spread earlier this week that said Sevilla had agreed a season-long loan for Isco, but, the 22-year-old denied the stories on social media.

He wrote on Twitter: ‘Obviously all lies.’

Isco scored 11 goals for Real last term after signing from Malaga in the summer of 2013.

      http://metro.co.uk/2014/07/20/liverpool-make-enquiry-for-real-madrids-isco-4804331/

Liverpool have made a loan bid for Real Madrid playmaker Isco, after reports emerged of their interest in the midfield orchestrator on the weekend.

According to Pete O’Rourke, reporter for Sky Sports, there have been reports in Spain that Liverpool have made a loan offer for the former Malaga man.

The Spanish attacker joined the Los Blancos last summer from Malaga and he got off to a flying start to life at the European champions. However, Isco struggled to continue his early season form and he was dropped by Carlo Ancelotti as the Italian favoured Luka Modric, Sami Khedira and Xabi Alonso ahead of the youngster.

The 22-year-old is seen as one of the most promising players in his position in Europe and despite his time on the bench at Real Madrid, he is still highly-rated at the club.

Isco would command a huge fee for his services permanently, which is why Brendan Rodgers has made his reported loan move for the talent.

We're well-stocked in Isco's AM role but I suppose there's always room for a talent like him. A loan would benefit all parties so its up to the young man if he wants to continue his development or go the way of the Saviola

I really don't know anymore. Another #10? I would have loved Isco if we didn't sign Lallana.

We have, Lallana, Sterling, Coutinho and possibly Suso who can play in the attacking central midfield roles. Suso for me is very similar to Isco, and I actually believe he will be better if played correctly and regularly.

If we were to take a midfielder from Real, It should be Illarramendi or Khedira

I do not understand a loan deal. He's an exceptional talent and if we can afford him, we ought to be signing him on a permanent deal. Couldn't care less whether we are well covered in the CAM role. He's by far more talented than both Coutinho and Lallana.

But having Lallana and Coutinho would complicate the transfer slightly. I cannot see it happening, at all. And as far as loan deals go, we've had a fair few of them recently. All have been poor. We as a big club shouldn't really have to make loan signings.

Lallana and Coutinho can play on the wing , I think BR want us to strengthen our midfield more .

I'd rather be full of options than having less less options and since when we saw Liverpool with plenty of options .

I'm worrying a bit about loan deals from RM last time it was shahin from RM and it didn't turned out to be a good one

Yes please! But on a permanent, or at least a clause to buy him.

Has great versatility in his ability to play out wide, in the #10 and as part of a midfield 3.

11 goals and 7 assists in 29 starts last season. Has been underused by Real and will shine being a bigger part of a team.

I can believe there is plenty of truth in this one. I've watched plenty of the lad and while he is very gifted and has exceptional technique he does seem to come with a hype attached to him his performances don't really justify from my perspective.

Could definitely develop into a midfield maestro but he isn't one at the moment. For him to develop into it he's going to need to be played constantly and I for one don't want to be Real's development program thanks. Either permanently or f**k off.

I'm a fan of Isco but I would much prefer if it was a permanent deal. And I'd also prefer an attacking player who was more of a goalscorer, as we have quite a few decent options as playmakers already. I certainly won't be complaining if he joins LFC though, quality young player.

I assume the fact that he has only been with Real one season he probably feels he has not been given a chance hence his reluctance in moving.

Or, positive spin on it. Shows his commitment to the club and should he end up signing through basically being forced out then hopefully he would have the same commitment and desire to be with us.

I love Isco, and I'd gladly see him here in any capacity possible.  If we can only get him on loan, then take him and be happy about it.  If we can work in a clause to make it permanent, even better.

Isco is a great player but if we are moving for him, why did we buy Lallana?

That means we'll have 3 players---Isco, Lallana and Coutinho---all vying for the same position.

I really like Coutinho and don't want to stunt his development.  I think he's actually better than Lallana, but there's no way Rodgers is going to bench a player who we spent so much money on.  And yet Isco isn't going to come here to sit the bench.

I don't get this one at all.

                       Mig
         Lovren              Sakho
                    Gerrard
              Lallana  Hendo

On a serious note, if we do bring in Isco on loan, I feel BR might push Coutinho further up and play him as a wide forward, RF or LF. Something like

      Coutinho/Markovic - Sturridge/Lambert - Sterling/Remy

      Lallana/Allen - Stevie/Can - Isco/Hendo

Pretty fluid I would say, but still feel there is SOME 'X-Factor' missing..!

Lallana or Coutinho could be used out wide. It's like saying there's no point buying Lovren because we already have numbers in that position. If they're better than the current crop then bring them in, Isco is better.

Dodgy source but apparently we are on the verge of a £23.7 million deal to sign Isco from Madrid.

      Caughtoffside is the worst!

      Daily fail.

If it's true, I suspect he'll join Man City over us. More money, Pellegrini & his fellow Spaniard friends!

They also have to loan the player as they have restrictions on spending and the foreign-player cap as well. I believe they have spent the 49mil - 30 on Managala, 12 on Fernando and 6 on Caballero.

Having said that, if Aguero starts upfront, it could be Silva-Isco-Navas behind. He'll definitely be tempted

      Let's all have a disco,
      Sturridge, Sterling, Isco
      La la lana

We should get him just for this.

Isco undoubtedly would be a great signing, but I don't think that Real Madrid is going to let go of
