Agreed. Can't see why Danny would want to go home so early. Surely he'd rather play for Liverpool over Brondby even if his game time isn't going to be as much as he'd be playing there. He's now in the Champions League. You'd think he'd want to give that another crack with us. He is going to get a run out at some stage.

Yep agree mate, 3 million quid is a piss take. Fair enough he's going back to Brondby but we all know he's worth way more then that.

Danny has been a loyal loyal player for Liverpool I'm not that unhappy to let him have his way and finish in his home country.

If he isn't going to play then we should look at for him . End of the day we are missing out on funds but it's not going to make or break us.

he is not one of our best defenders, the problem is people are too attached to the past, he is past his best due to his injuries and has not been good enough for us anymore, we need to be ruthless, hence us buying better defenders but what we have shown here is our heart, sure we could sell him for double the price to another team but agger wants to go home, he really wants this and I applaud the club in letting agger go to his home club as it is his wish.

In his prime he was a quality defender, I wish he was not so injury prone, they really derailed his career

Like Lucas he makes really hard work of tackles that years ago would have been a piece of piss for him, the liability is the penalty handed out for that loss of speed or skill impacts on the team and in the worst scenario affects a result.

we have sakho and lovern remember as first choice, both better and will hopefully be our first choice defence, we also have like a 2 week international break and toure as back up

Always liked Danny and wish him well. In truth though he never really pushed on to be the player he should have been. No consistency with him, that could be because of the amount of time he was injured.

Sad to see him go but he will always have a place at the club, class from the club to let him go for the price no way could The club afford him otherwise. YNWA

Pleased he got his move back home. Loyalty and honour personified is Dagger and he rightfully gets to demonstrate that with this move.

For anyone moaning at the fee realise that I'm pretty damn sure to get that fee he would have been going somewhere like United or Arsenal, well in Dagger for refusing to do just that.
