Look the win is all important but think bigger then tonight. What would Madrid have done to us. Even our main league rivals would have killed us tonight. I absolutely love our new fullbacks.  Out of all our new players these two have been fantastic, they're relentless both in defence and attack.

What a fantastic night, CL back and Liverpool doing what Liverpool do best, keep us in the edge of out seats, give us heart attacks but come through in the end.

Coulda Woulda Shoulda.

O.K., get the negative out of the way first. We where poor tonight. There's no getting away from it, we where poor again and it's got to be apparent to Rodgers now that this formation simply isn't working for us. As others have said, no off the ball movement, we looked lethargic again and our attacking prowess seems to have gone to sh*t. That said I always feel you can't judge a game until every team in the group has played each other. Were we poor or did Ludogorets make us look poor? How will they fare against Real and Basel? How will we? Did Basel just have a bad night at the office or are they the unexpected whipping boys of the group? We won't know any of this yet so let's not be too negative over our performance and simply relish getting off to a winning start. At the end of the day, that's the most important thing.

We need someone playing with Balotelli this weekend. And I would give some time to Lallana. Seems a little bit lost, yet.

That was rubbish as ive said since first game Lovren is not good enough and before everyone puts the blame on Migs it was Lovrens ball to cut out . More to it than that, can't hold Lovren responsible, if young Moreno is where he should (ie. in the left back position) rather then sprinting forward to try and get himself a goal moments earlier thehn the goal probably doesn't happen because their striker doesn't have that space to run into. Likewise they passed it through our entire midfield in one swift move and then Migs flys out when he doesn't need to. There were a whole bunch of errors that led to the goal. Luckily for us if didn't matter as Gerrard Pen came to the rescue once again!

Agree.  He didn't cost us a goal tonight.  Second time this season I've seen Lovren bypassed like that.  Him and Mignolet dropped bollocks for that goal.

Thought Ludogorets were actually very good, we were poor and lucky. If I was to put them on par with a PL team it would be Newcastle-esque. Who are capable of beating Basel. If we beat basel at home. 1 win away to either Ludo or Basel and a draw in the other then we progress with 10.

To early to analyse but noticed somebody posted Lovren much better than his sidekick 
He was at fault for the game and generally more skittish than Kolo.
